Had a query from one of my customers that he has heard Windows 10 has been supported till Oct 2026.here is the answer.
Windows 10 is not continuing support beyond the current end-of-support date of October 14, 2025, but you can extend its life by one year, until October 13, 2026, by enrolling your PC in the Windows 10 Consumer Extended Security Updates (ESU) program. Without enrollment, your PC will still function but will be more vulnerable to security risks after the support period ends. Enrolling in the ESU program provides critical and important security updates but does not include new features or bug fixes.
The Windows 10 Consumer Extended Security Updates (ESU) program is a paid subscription service that provides critical and important security updates for Windows 10 devices after the official end-of-support date of October 14, 2025, allowing individuals to extend their device's usable lifespan securely. It extends security for a limited time and is available to individuals and organizations. Microsoft has made it possible for consumers to receive these updates by enrolling in the program through the Windows Update settings within Windows 10, though it requires a paid subscription.
