Say goodbye to the A4 jigsaw! We've had a few sewing patterns come through recently so we thought we'd remind you that yes, we print sewing patterns!

Send us the large-format file and we can print it at 100% actual size on 80gsm uncoated paper, so your pattern pieces stay at the measurements intended by the designer. If you have a layered pattern, just tell us the size you want and we'll print just that.

The price per sheet reduces when you order multiple pages, with clear pricing for up to five A0 sheets now available on our website.

And A0 isn't the limit. Our roll-fed plan printer can accommodate patterns up to 841mm wide, including files longer than a standard A0 sheet.

A lot less sticking. A lot more sewing.

Another date for the York fundraising calendar. The Three Bears Foundation Winter Charity Ball returns to York Racecourse on Saturday 14 November, with York-founded Persimmon Homes joining the event as headline sponsor.

Last year's ball raised more than £18,000, helping the Foundation continue its support for pancreatic cancer research and local care. Recent projects have included funding a specialist cuddle bed for St Leonard's Hospice and donating £20,000 towards a Family Room at York Against Cancer's Leveson Centre.

We've worked with the Three Bears Foundation on their printed certificates and have been very proud recipients ourselves for the last two years, so it's great to see this year's event taking shape.

We were proud to sponsor a tee at the York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity Golf Day at Sandburn Hall, which raised an incredible £11,275.70. Our donation will help them get one step closer to the refurbishment of the Breast Unit Waiting area at York Hospital, which will make such a difference to future patients.

It’s always good to see local businesses getting behind events like this, particularly when the end result supports the hospitals and services our community relies on. And, naturally, if there’s an opportunity to put a bit of purple signage on a golf course, we’re happy to oblige.

York-based Bessies Yorkshire Preserves know a thing or two about what goes inside a jar. Their range has picked up several Great Taste and Dalemain Marmalade Awards, including Gold in 2026.

We've been producing Bessies' labels since 2019, with their latest batch covering eight different varieties. Each flavour has its own colours and small design changes while keeping everything recognisably Bessie's.

The labels themselves are a non-standard 206 x 50mm shape to fit their jars, and include a circular cut-out that leaves a window through to the preserve inside the jar. It’s a lovely example of how a well-designed label can become part of a product’s identity.

The Riverfront York started with a simple idea: make it easier for customers outside to get to the menu.

Using their existing branding and website as our guide, we designed 80x80mm QR code labels which take customers straight to the menu. They're printed onto permanent adhesive marine grade label stock, custom cut on our Veloblade and applied directly to the benches outside.

Marine grade stock was the important bit here, hard-wearing weather-resitant properties to go against the great British summer!

A lovely first project for Riverfront Cafe, and hopefully the first of many!

Stickers with bite! RO Pictures recently headed to Megacon LIVE Manchester to showcase the prototype game for Tales from Davidstown: Supernatural Werewolf Audio & Graphic Novel Series.

We turned their supplied artwork into custom sticker sheets featuring five characters, their logo and a full moon. We created the cut paths in Illustrator, printed them onto permanent adhesive label stock and shape cut each design on our Veloblade.

A fun bit of merchandise giving visitors a little piece of Davidstown to take home.

T C Drains is a family-owned team of drainage experts with a comprehensive range of drainage services for all properties in York and surrounding areas.

While ordering a new set of NCR pads, we highlighted their logo didn't match their website and whether they wanted it replacing. After a quick phone call, we decided that we weren't only going to rebrand the invoice pads, we were going to create 3 separate versions for their three key sites in York, Harrogate and Leeds, all with QR codes pointing to their Google business page for customers to add to their 150+ 5 Star reviews.

It's a reminder that whenever your branding evolves, it's worth checking the everyday items your customers see too, and improve your Google rankings while you're at it!

Sometimes a well-oiled machine needs a little servicing. When J & G Skip hire came to us with their delivery pads, they'd been meaning to update it for years.

Customers weren't reading the important bits. Unneccessary boxes were taking up space. Bank details were incorrect. The usual!

Rather than a back and forth over email, we scribbled on a current copy, made plenty of notes and within 10 minutes we were ready to put a redesign together.

By reorganising the information, adjusting the spacing and highlighting key information for customers to read, we redesigned the pad to make it easier for customers and more efficient for the office.

It doesn't always need to be a dramatic redesign to be an effective solution, but it's one that will be used every day by the people who rely on it most.
