As a celebrated contemporary artist, Mahama’s impact spans the globe, from the Venice Biennale and Documenta to the permanent collections of the Centre Pompidou, LACMA, and the National Gallery of Art.

Beyond the gallery walls, he is redefining the artistic landscape in Ghana. Through the Savannah Centre for Contemporary Art (SCCA), Red Clay Studio, and Nkrumah Voli-ni, he has built vital platforms for research, community learning, and transformative exhibitions.
