American multinational technology company, Google LLC has officially unveiled Google search image in US. Google in a blog post said, the newly launched service Lens to help users do more with what they see; adding that, it will expand to other categories in the coming months. According to the tech giant, the service will be available in mobile browsers (Chrome, Safari) on Android and Apple smartphones, but not within the Google apps but will surely come later in the year. News reaching Smartarenapost.com indicates that, technology giants, Apple and Samsung have been fined €10m and €5m respectively in Italy for deliberately slowing down phones. According to the Italian authorities, Apple and Samsung Apple and Samsung implemented unfair commercial practices as software updates were said to have slowed the performance of phones. Antitrust watchdog in statement said; “Apple and Samsung implemented dishonest commercial practices” and that operating system updates “caused serious malfunctions and significantly reduced performance, thus accelerating phones’ substitution”.
