MAYBE ONE DAY I WILL FINALLY GET TO LIVE BEFORE I LEAVE!

That hit deep.

Not exist. Not survive. Not just wake up, go to work, pay bills, and repeat.

LIVE.

Laugh until your stomach hurts. Travel somewhere your phone doesn't know the language. Take the risk. Say the thing you have been too scared to say. Love like you have never been hurt. Spend the money on the experience. Buy the ticket. Eat the cake. Dance in the rain.

Because one day, without warning, the clock stops. And all those "maybe one day" dreams die with you.

Stop waiting for the perfect moment. Stop waiting until you have more money, more time, more confidence. That day may never come.

Live now. While your heart is still beating. While your body can still move. While the people you love are still here.

Before you leave.

Moral lesson: Life is not a rehearsal. This is it. Stop planning to live and start living your plan.

Going back to school wasn’t a decision I made because I had to. It was something I chose for myself.

My real reason for going back to school ...?

Part of it was personal growth. Part of it was proving to myself that I could still set a challenging goal and follow through. Most importantly, it was about taking concrete steps toward the future I want.

What made the difference was finding a path that fit my circumstances. With University of the People, I was able to start working toward a degree without the burden of traditional tuition costs. The learning resources, coursework, and assessments have given me a structured way to keep moving forward. I was also fortunate to receive a scholarship, which helped reduce the cost of assessment fees.

Today, I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at my own pace while balancing the other responsibilities in my life. Every course completed is another step toward both a personal goal and a long-term dream.

Sometimes the biggest obstacle is simply getting started. I'm glad I did.

The cursor hasn’t really changed in over 50 years. Now Google is building AI directly into it — and that could completely change how we use computers.

The idea is simple: instead of copying text into ChatGPT, you just point your cursor at what you need.

Hover over a document, get a quick summary. Hover over a spreadsheet, instantly generate a chart. Hover over products — compare prices. All without switching between apps or windows.

Why this matters

Right now, AI lives in a separate app: you open a chat, write a prompt, copy context, paste it in. It works, but it’s slow and clunky.

Google wants AI to be built into everything you do. The cursor understands what you’re pointing at and sends that context to the model automatically.

So instead of writing complex prompts, you can just say things like: “fix this” and “explain this”

And the saddest part? You don't even know it.

Not everything you read is true. Not everything you see is real. Not every "expert" knows what they are talking about.

Misinformation is a mistake. Typos. Old data. Honest errors.

Disinformation is a weapon. Lies dressed up as facts. Half-truths designed to manipulate you. Propaganda wearing a professional mask.

And the internet? Anyone can publish anything. No degree required. No fact-check needed. No consequences for being wrong.

So how do you survive? You think critically.

That means you ask the uncomfortable questions. You check the source. You wonder who benefits when you believe this. You look for the other side of the story. You admit that you might be wrong.

Critical thinking is not about being negative. It is about being awake.

YOU ARE A VERY GOOD PERSON. AMAZING. SWEET. KIND. CARING. THOUGHTFUL… UNTIL YOU CAN NO LONGER SEND MONEY.

Sad but true.

The same people who called you "family" start acting strange. The same friends who always had time for you suddenly become busy. The same relatives who praised your generosity begin to whisper behind your back.

You didn't change. Your bank account did.

And that is how you find out who truly loves you versus who loves what you provide.

It hurts. But it is also a gift. Because now you know. Now you see clearly. Now you can stop performing love for people who were only ever performing gratitude.

Keep your heart soft. But let your circle be small. And never mistake being used for being loved.

Moral lesson: When your money runs out, you find out who really runs with you. Believe them the first time.

Every single day could be your last. So what are you waiting for?

Not in a reckless way. Not in a burn everything down way. But in a stop postponing your joy way.

Stop saving your best clothes for an occasion that never comes. Stop waiting until you lose weight to feel beautiful. Stop delaying that meal with people you love. Stop acting like you have unlimited tomorrows.

You do not.

The same sun that rose today might set on a different story. And you are over here worried about what people will think, about whether you deserve to enjoy yourself, about some future date that is not even guaranteed.
