🚀 SkillSet Lab Cohort 5 Is Officially Underway!
We officially kicked off SkillSet Lab Cohort 5 – Digital Marketing with an engaging onboarding session that brought together a new group of ambitious young people ready to build the skills needed to succeed in today's evolving world of work.
Our discussions focused on Ghana's changing employment landscape and the growing demand for digital skills, particularly in areas such as digital marketing, content creation, social media management, digital advertising, and online brand development. Participants explored how businesses are increasingly relying on digital platforms to drive growth, engage customers, and increase revenue, creating new opportunities for young people with the right skills.
We also introduced participants to the SkillSet Lab employability ecosystem and what they should expect throughout the 14-week journey. From hands-on digital marketing training to a 3-month structured internship through the National Internship Program (NIP), participants will have the opportunity to apply their skills in real workplace environments while supporting host organizations to improve their digital presence, increase sales, and drive business growth.
The journey doesn't end there. High-performing participants will also be transitioned into the Ghana Talent Bank (GTB), where they will gain access to internships, freelance opportunities, and job placements.
At Innville Foundation, we believe that skills training alone is not enough. That's why we have built an integrated pathway that takes young people from skills to workplace experience to employment opportunities.
This is more than a training program. It's a pathway to skills, work and income.
