At Athens Tech College, we are committed to supporting our students beyond the classroom - connecting them with meaningful opportunities that help them grow, network, and thrive.

During this year’s Devoxx Greece, our students had the chance to volunteer at one of Greece's leading developer conferences, gaining hands-on experience and building meaningful connections along the way.

Sofia Loukisa, a stage 3 BSc in Computer Science student, shared that it was a unique opportunity to connect with people and explore potential job opportunities in a truly supportive environment.

"Everyone was there for the same reason, which made it an extremely positive and motivating experience."

Today, we join the global community in celebrating International Girls in ICT Day!

Girls in ICT Day was born from a simple but urgent idea - that digital skills are a gateway to opportunity, and that gateway should be open to everyone. Closing the gender gap in technology is about what becomes possible when more women bring their talent and perspective to STEM fields that are reshaping how we live and work.

At Athens Tech College, we are proud to be part of that story - through the women who study computer science with us, who grow here, and who go on to build careers in one of the most dynamic industries of our time.

Ath.Tech College proudly co-hosted on Sliman Campus the Data Engineering Academy conducted by our industrial training partner Code.Hub. Twenty participants worked alongside industry specialists to master modern data engineering tools, with a focus on frontier technologies such as Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.

We congratulate everyone on completing this difficult but rich knowledge journey and wish them the best in their next steps! We are particularly pleased that Ath/Tech students had the opportunity to share the campus environment and engage meaningfully with the seasoned professionals and industry experts who delivered the academy’s courses.
