🛡️ During BEYOND Expo 2026, MetaMind innovations - MINDS presented the project at the Περιφέρεια Δυτικής Μακεδονίας / Region of Western Macedonia Pavilion., introducing visitors to its work on strengthening the awareness, preparedness and resilience of European .

💡 Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the NERO Ecosystem and its three use cases in healthcare, transportation and logistics, and finance, where project technologies are being validated against sector-specific cybersecurity needs.

⚙️ As part of the project, contributes to NERO through two cybersecurity technologies: M-RADAR and M-HaaS (Honeypot as a Service). M-RADAR supports AI-based network monitoring, anomaly and intrusion detection and real-time security visualisation, while M-HaaS uses intelligent honeypots to capture and analyse malicious network activity.

Through these technologies, MINDS supports NERO's validation activities and helps explore practical ways to improve threat detection, network visibility and cyber resilience.

The event provided an opportunity to introduce NERO's work to visitors and discuss how cybersecurity technologies can support more secure and resilient organisations across critical sectors.

📣 MetaMind innovations - MINDS was pleased to participate in the project General Assembly in , 🇭🇷, hosted by RISE - Research and Innovation Services.

🤝 With the project entering its final months, partners reviewed the latest developments of the REALM platform, discussed the progress of the demonstrators and technical integration, and aligned on the remaining activities, including exploitation and long-term sustainability.

⚙️ Represented by our colleague Georgios Tsiamitas, took part in the meeting as Technical Coordinator of REALM. During the second day, MINDS chaired the Technical Nodes Working Group: Deployment, Documentation and Integration, bringing partners together to discuss the status of the REALM nodes, their setup and integration, and key technical components of the platform. MINDS also contributed to wider discussions on platform integration, demonstrator progress, evaluation and the long-term use of REALM results.

🚀 MetaMind innovations - MINDS participated in the Kick-Off Meeting of the project, held on 16 June 2026 in Athens, Greece and hosted by the Hellenic Ministry of Digital Governance - Υπουργείο Ψηφιακής Διακυβέρνησης

The meeting brought together the project’s 14 partners to discuss AICONFORM’s objectives, technical work and next steps, including its AI/NLP compliance framework, data governance and privacy, and the three pilots in public administration, manufacturing and energy.

⚙️ Within AICONFORM, leads Task 2.1 - Regulatory Requirement Extraction, contributing to the development of methods that can extract regulatory requirements from legal and regulatory documents and transform them into machine-readable obligations. MINDS will also contribute to the project’s data governance, privacy and interoperability activities.

Through AICONFORM, the consortium aims to make regulatory compliance easier and more efficient by developing an AI-driven framework that supports practical compliance with European regulations such as the AI Act, NIS2 and eIDAS 2.0.

🤖 During BEYOND Expo 2026, MetaMind innovations - MINDS showcased technologies developed within the project, presenting practical approaches to data-efficient, privacy-aware and trustworthy at the Περιφέρεια Δυτικής Μακεδονίας / Region of Western Macedonia Pavilion.

💡 Visitors had the opportunity to explore the Image & Timeseries FDM Tool, which supports the creation of data-efficient datasets while preserving their predictive value.

The approach supports privacy-preserving collaboration, allowing participating nodes to benefit from shared learning processes without exchanging raw local datasets.

⚙️ By significantly reducing data volume while preserving the predictive value of training data, this approach can help reduce computational demands and contribute to more efficient and sustainable AI systems.

The demonstration attracted interest from visitors and provided an opportunity to discuss how data optimisation and privacy-aware collaboration can support the development of reliable and resource-efficient AI solutions.

🚀 MetaMind innovations - MINDS was pleased to participate in the Kick-Off Meeting of the Horizon Europe Innovation Action – A Collaborative Memory Platform for Cultural Heritage, held on 23-24 June 2026 in Athens, Greece.

The Kick-Off Meeting marked the official launch of the project, bringing together 18 partners from six European countries to align on the technical roadmap, discuss pilot activities and establish the foundations for the next 30 months of collaboration.

As Technical Coordinator, is responsible for coordinating the consortium's technical activities, while also leading the Stakeholder Engagement & Co-Design (WP2) work package to help ensure that stakeholder needs are reflected throughout the development and validation of the MNEME platform.

MNEME will contribute to the validation and enhancement of the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (hashtag ) through five real-world pilots, supporting innovative digital solutions for the preservation, accessibility and long-term value of Europe's cultural heritage.

🚀 MetaMind innovations - MINDS was pleased to participate in the SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises "Cybersecurity in the Age of AI", where we showcased AI-powered technologies for intrusion detection, vulnerability assessment and cyber resilience.

During the workshop, our Co-Founder and Full Professor at Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Μακεδονίας - University of Western Macedonia Panos Sarigiannidis, presented practical Artificial Intelligence solutions designed to help organisations detect cyber threats, assess vulnerabilities, strengthen security operations and improve cyber resilience.

🔐 The presentation demonstrated how intelligent agents can support intrusion detection, vulnerability assessment, phishing detection, honeypots and distributed collaboration systems, enabling real-time monitoring, automated security analysis and more informed decision-making.

The presentation highlighted how AI-powered cybersecurity technologies can move beyond research into practical solutions, helping organisations detect threats faster, improve security operations and strengthen cyber resilience.

🥽 During BEYOND Expo 2026, MetaMind innovations - MINDS showcased the project's Virtual Reality ( ) training environment at the Περιφέρεια Δυτικής Μακεδονίας / Region of Western Macedonia Pavilion.

⚡ Visitors had the opportunity to experience an immersive training scenario developed for photovoltaic panel installation technicians, demonstrating how Virtual Reality technologies can support technical training and workforce reskilling for the green transition.

The application enables trainees to familiarise themselves with installation tools and components, understand assembly procedures and practice task sequences within a safe and controlled virtual environment before moving to real-world installations.

🎓 By reducing training risks, accelerating skills acquisition and improving learning engagement, immersive technologies can provide significant added value for vocational education and professional training programmes.

The demonstration attracted strong interest from visitors and initiated discussions around the role of VR technologies in education, workforce development and social innovation.

🚀 MetaMind innovations - MINDS was proud to participate in BEYOND Expo 2026, one of the leading and exhibitions in Southeast .

Representing the first spin-off of the Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Μακεδονίας - University of Western Macedonia, the team showcased innovative solutions and ongoing activities in Artificial Intelligence, , Virtual Reality ( ) and Digital Innovation.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to explore our technologies, discover research and innovation initiatives, and learn more about European research and innovation projects, including Evosst Horizon Project, and , which were presented at the MINDS booth through dissemination materials and interactive demonstrations.

🟩Η πρωτοβουλία έχει ως στόχο την ενίσχυση των ψηφιακών δεξιοτήτων του ανθρώπινου δυναμικού και των μικρών επιχειρήσεων του εμπορίου, με έμφαση στην πρακτική αξιοποίηση εργαλείων Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης για την προβολή προϊόντων, τη δημιουργία περιεχομένου και τη σύγχρονη επικοινωνία με τους καταναλωτές.

🟩Η Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη αποτελεί πλέον ένα άμεσα αξιοποιήσιμο εργαλείο και για τις μικρές εμπορικές επιχειρήσεις. ✅Η δράση θα υλοποιηθεί με τη συμβολή εξειδικευμένων συνεργατών σε εφαρμογές Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης και ψηφιακού περιεχομένου, με τη συμμετοχή συνεργατών από το Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Μακεδονίας, ενισχύοντας τη σύνδεση της γνώσης και της έρευνας με τις πραγματικές ανάγκες των τοπικών επιχειρήσεων.
