As a marine electronic field engineer he’ll be attending services on Navigation, communication and safety systems on board the vessels (Repairs, Installation, Survey, commissioning, etc.) and provide support services.Responsibilities: Provide service worldwide on-board vessels. Be able to travel both regionally and internationally, sometimes at short notice, to provide technical support to customers and/or other engineers. Install, repair, test and maintain marine electronic radio and navigation Systems. Performs radio inspections according to IMO and Class authorities. Complete company required service report and documentation. Requirements: Educated to degree level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering is essential. Experience as a Marine Electronics Service Engineer would be preferable. Have good fault finding and diagnostic skills on complex equipment and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. PC configuration experience with networking and IT skills Excellent command of English language both reading and writing.
