You probably have heard from one of our stellar products from La Bolsa farm, located in La Libertad, in Huehuetenango, famous for the production of Cup of Excellence award winning lots. Our experience in coffee dates since 1956, when our grandparents begun the adventure of cul

tivating quality coffee. Genera in Spanish means, “to generate”. We believe a producer is in constant generation of satisfaction products for the needs of customers. Despite weather, we carefully overview all variables in coffee and manage them to create a customized product for demanding buyers. The objective of Genara Café is to becoming the purchase of preference of specialty coffee buyers from around the world whose main focus are quality coffees from Guatemala. The methodology has been perfected and elaborated with the experience and collaboration of our buying customers. For ten years, our long term relationship has allowed us to identify best varieties, regions within the farms and best picking time.

We found this coffee to have a well rounded butterscotch mouthfeel and flavour. Plenty of apple notes, a gentle acidity and hints of walnut throughout the cup, makes for a delicious filter.
