CheckPlus for Nonprofits has been hugely popular in the NGO space with thousands of payments and donations and over HK$8M transacted via the platform since its launch in early 2019.

We are very proud of our achievement thus far, and our team has been incredibly busy preparing the launch of our next iteration to make it even better - Version 5.0! We will be releasing the system update as soon as this Fall and we will share more details in the coming months!

Not only has our development team been working so hard on creating some new and exciting breakthrough features, we have also been hoping to make our product as accessible as possible.

We are pleased to announce we will be revamping our subscription plans and substantially enhancing our Free Tier plan. The Free Tier plan will be renamed to “Community Member” and it will include some useful features that were previously only included in the paid plans. It is our push to a more inclusive, fair and sustainable future and we are just getting started here!

As part of the release of Version 5.0 and Subscription Plans revamp, we have increased the total contributed fund amount to the CheckPlus Community Relief and Recovery Fund to HK$4M. As a result, we will continue to waive all subscription fees for all nonprofits using CheckPlus for Nonprofits until the end of September, 2023.

Our Founder, CEO and Chief Design Officer - Mr. Edward Lai was invited to the Kick-off Ceremony cm Promotion Seminar of Asia Smart App Awards 2022/2023 as Panelist on January 5, 2023.  Asia Smart App Awards 2022/23 is organized by Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) with the funding support from Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.  CheckPlus for Nonprofits was awarded a Gold Award under Public Sector & Social Innovation Category from the Asia Smart App Awards 2021.

CheckPlus for Nonprofits was awarded a Gold Award from the Asia Smart App Awards 2021 organized by WTIA and sponsored by CreateHK.

Our Founder and CEO, Mr. Edward Lai, on behalf of the CheckPlus team received the Gold Award from the Asia Smart App Awards 2021 at Cyberport on June 23, 2022.

CheckPlus for Nonprofits 榮獲由香港無線科技商會(WTIA)主辦、創意香港贊助的第八屆「亞洲智能應用程式大獎」公共事務及社會創新類 (Public Sector & Social Innovation Category) 金獎。

We are pleased to announce, thanks to the continuous support from our CheckPlus shareholders who has set up the CheckPlus COVID-19 Relief Fund since the start of the pandemic in early 2020 that are worth over HK$2.5M, we will continue to waive all subscription fees for all nonprofits using CheckPlus for Nonprofits until December 31, 2022.

我們十分高興宣布 CheckPlus 會繼續豁免所有使用 CheckPlus 非牟利版的非牟利機構的所有每月或每年費用直至 2022 年 12 月 31 日。我們再次非常感謝 CheckPlus 股東的慷慨解囊。自 2020 年初，設立 CheckPlus COVID-19 援助基金，令 CheckPlus 非牟利版能夠免除所有參與的非牟利機構的所有每月或每年費用，總資助金額高達至 HK$250萬。

Today marks a very special day for us at CheckPlus, not only is March 31 the last day of the current financial year, it is also a day the CheckPlus transaction volume has gone over HK$5M for the first time.

今天，對於 CheckPlus 來說，是一個非常特別的日子。3 月 31 日不僅是本財政年度的最後一天，也是 CheckPlus 平台交易額首次突破 500 萬港元的日子。

More than that, thanks to the generosity of our CheckPlus shareholders who has set up the CheckPlus COVID-19 Relief Fund since the start of the pandemic in early 2020, CheckPlus has waived all subscription fees for all participating nonprofits that are worth over HK$2M and we will continue this arrangement until May 31, 2022.

我們非常感謝 CheckPlus 股東的慷慨解囊。自 2020 年初，設立 CheckPlus COVID-19 援助基金，令 CheckPlus 非牟利版能夠免除所有參與的非牟利機構的所有每月或每年費用，總資助金額高達至 HK$200萬。我們將繼續這安排直至 2022 年 5 月 31 日。

It does not just stop here, starting in early April 2022, a new receipt format will be used for all receipts generated by CheckPlus for Nonprofits.

Ever since launching CheckPlus for Nonprofits in Feb 2019, our team has
been hard at work and we have recently released v4.0 on Feb 28, 2022. Before we get to talk more everything about v4.0, we would like to give you a few updates.

We are pleased to share the news that we have processed over HK$4.5M in a combination of payments and donations processed via the platform.

Our efforts have been recognized by the innovation and technology sector in Hong Kong, and we were awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2021.

We know you must be excited about our all-new v4.0, here’s everything you will need to know.

Quick overview about the v4.0 update
* Temporarily reduced Domestic Visa, Mastercard and UnionPay transaction fee from 3.2% + HK$2.50 to 2.9% + HK$2.50 until April 20, 2022.
* Improved Organization Account Design
* Additional payment data such as, identifying which mobile wallet is used to pay (Apple Pay or Google Pay).
* We have added Notifications in the Organization Account that will remind you whether you have not activated 3D Secure or if your KYC record needs to be updated.
* As CheckPlus adopts more payment methods via different payment gateway partners, we have renamed the payout page “Bank and Payout” to “Stripe” as this page only consists settings related to only Stripe.
* Add multiple bank accounts (Please note only your default bank account will be used for payout/fund transfer, and payout/fund transfer remains to be paid out automatically when the fund becomes available.)
* The payment page will now show “Pay” or “Donate” depending on the transaction type the organization has set.
* We have added the support for Faster Payment System (FPS), contact us for more information.
* ACTION REQUIRED: Activate 3D Secure by March 31, 2022.

今天，賴鈞豪先生 Edward Lai（CheckPlus 創辦人兼行政總裁）和許朝英社長 David Hui（CheckPlus 非牟利外展顧問）一起代表CheckPlus團隊，出席於香港會議展覽中心，「香港資訊及通訊科技獎」的頒獎典禮，我們的努力得到大會的肯定，獲頒奬項。

這個獎項不僅屬於我們，同時，也屬於我們 50 多間的非牟利機構合作夥伴。我們於 2019 年初推出了 CheckPlus for Nonprofits 平台，得到大家的認同，這平台至目前為止，已處理了超過 400 萬港元的付款及捐款。我們會繼續謙卑努力，積極地提升善用科技的效能，把貢獻的成果惠及社群。
