🏙️ Driving Smart City Development in the Northern Metropolis

The PropTech Proof-of-Concept Programme, jointly organised by Cyberport and Hong Kong Housing Society, celebrated its 2nd Cohort and welcomed 11 new start-ups on 28 July. 🎉

Over the past 18 months, 14 start-ups completed 20+ field trials across HKHS estates, introducing smarter solutions for property management and residents’ daily lives.

The 3rd Cohort will apply AI, IoT, 3D scanning, 3D modelling, and Cantonese LLM technologies to improve efficiency across property management and construction. 🤖🏗️

With around 40 start-ups engaged since 2022, the Programme continues to turn innovation into real-world solutions and strengthen Hong Kong’s I&T ecosystem. 🚀

Google has launched Gemini Spark in Hong Kong 🇭🇰—an always-on AI agent that runs in the background to handle daily tasks. With OpenAI and Anthropic not yet officially available locally, Spark expands accessible AI options. AI Ultra users can use it now, with Pro rolling out soon.

【Google Gemini Spark 登陸香港！一圖看清全天候 AI 代理處理日常瑣務】

繼今年 3 月 Gemini 網頁版正式在港上線後，Google 於 7 月 29 日宣布在香港推出 Gemini Spark，一款可全天候在背景運作的 AI 代理工具。目前 OpenAI 及 Anthropic 等主要 AI 服務商仍未正式開放香港地區使用，Gemini Spark 的登陸進一步擴大了本地用戶可直接使用的 AI 工具選項。

香港 Google AI Ultra 訂閱者現已可使用 Gemini Spark。Google AI Pro 訂閱者的使用權限則將於未來數星期內逐步開放。

■ 離線狀態下持續運作

Gemini Spark 與一般 AI 聊天工具的最大分別，在於它不需要用戶持續在線。即使關上手提電腦或鎖上手機，Spark 仍會在 Google 的雲端基礎架構上繼續執行已獲指示的任務。

該工具由 Gemini 3.6 Flash 模型驅動，可直接連結 Gmail、Google 文件、Google 簡報及 Google 試算表等 Google Workspace 工具，無需額外設定。有別於傳統聊天機器人等待用戶逐次輸入指令的模式，Spark 可根據用戶預先設定的指示，跨應用程式主動執行多步驟任務。

■ 從學校回條到訂閱帳單

Google 在新聞稿中以一位忙碌家長為例，描述 Spark 如何自動整理 Gmail 中零散的學校郵件，確保不會錯過簽署回條的截止日期。這類場景對生活節奏急促的香港用戶而言並不陌生。

- 在財務管理：用戶可指示 Spark 每月 1 號自動查閱 Gmail 中上個月的電子收據，一旦發現訂閱服務加價或試用期即將届滿，系統會即時通知並預先草擬取消訂閱的電郵。

- 旅行規劃：用戶可設定 Spark 在每次收到機票或酒店預訂確認電郵時，自動將資料新增至指定的 Google 試算表，同時搜尋目的地的當地活動並添加到 Google 日曆。

對中小企經營者及自營業者而言，Spark 亦設有針對性的功能。用戶可指示它自動掃描收件箱內的客戶查詢，根據客戶需求草擬推薦服務與收費方案的電郵回覆，並儲存至草稿供審閱後才發出。

■ 自訂技能功能

Spark 亦支援「自訂技能」（Skill）功能。用戶可指示 Spark 分析過去撰寫的 50 封電郵，從中總結個人寫作風格，並將其儲存為一項可重複使用的技能，例如命名為「Ghostwriter」。往後要求 Spark 草擬電郵時，系統便會自動套用該風格。

■ 用戶掌握主導權

在安全設計上，Spark 始終在用戶指示下運作。用戶可自行決定是否開啟功能及其可連結的應用程式，系統在執行發送電郵或進行交易等較高風險操作前，須先徵求用戶同意。

■ 代理式 AI 競賽升溫

放眼全球，代理式 AI 已成為科技巨頭的核心競爭領域。OpenAI 已將 ChatGPT 與 Codex 整合為代理平台，Anthropic 亦推出了 Claude Cowork。不過，上述兩項服務目前均未正式向香港用戶開放，Google 是目前唯一在香港正式提供此類服務的主要 AI 公司。
