DPF warning light on? 🔥

A dashboard warning light tells you something is wrong — but it doesn’t tell you what the control module actually detected.

In this real-car test, UK diagnostic specialist SA Diagnostic’s uses the iCarsoft MB V4.0 to demonstrate Read & Clear DTCs. The tool provides all-system diagnostics on supported Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, Smart and Maybach vehicles, going beyond the basic engine codes available from a generic OBD reader.

A proper diagnostic workflow is more than simply pressing “Clear.” First, read the stored DTC and use it to guide troubleshooting.
