When designing for premium, artisanal products, the goal is always to make the product's natural quality the hero.
For Mas’, a traditional Istrian family olive oil brand, we developed a visual identity that bridges modern minimalism with organic authenticity.

The Design Strategy:

The Liquid Window: Instead of hiding the product behind paper, we introduced a bold, vertical die-cut window right through the center of the label. This frames the rich, golden-green olive oil itself, allowing the natural color and viscosity to complete the layout.

Chromatic Storytelling: To differentiate the monovarietal and blended oils, we developed a vibrant, color-coded system (Cyan, Magenta, and Forest Green). Each variant uses a distinct palette to mirror the intensity and tasting notes of the oil inside.

Abstract Organics: The background features a tightly woven, vector pattern of interlocking olive leaves. This abstract approach honors traditional Mediterranean agriculture while keeping the overall aesthetic clean, contemporary, and highly premium on retail shelves.

Typography: Pairing a clean, structured sans-serif for the core branding with a delicate, flowing script at the base establishes an elegant hierarchy. The script grounds the design, offering immediate flavor descriptors (bitterness, spiciness, aroma) directly to the connoisseur.
