The Paul Kalkbrenner site Paul Kalkbrenner just picked up Site of the Day and the Developer Award on Awwwards.

Two recognitions in one, which says something about both sides of the project: a visual direction built on a clean, minimal foundation with a retro-inspired palette, and a build careful enough to hold all the motion and interaction without ever getting in the way.

We’ve been working with Paul across a range of projects for a few years now, so this one feels good for the whole collaboration, not just the site.

CoMinVi is an underground mining contractor from Mexico. They dig the tunnels, hold them up, and pull the ore out for companies like Agnico Eagle, Fresnillo and First Majestic. Twenty years of it. Over a million linear meters of tunnel and twenty million tons of mineral, all of it happening where nobody can see it.

We built them a new site and a new digital direction to bring that work to the surface.

The structure leads with services and technology, so the capability is clear in the first minute. Safety runs through the entire company, so it runs through the site the same way instead of sitting in a footer. And the people got real space. 35% of the mine workforce and 65% of administration are women, numbers that are unusual for this industry and worth stating plainly rather than burying. Next to that, a section built for current and future employees that shows what the job actually looks like and why people stay.

Under the hood it’s modular and simple to maintain, so the team can keep it current on their own. On the surface there are a few interactive moments you don’t expect from a mining site, placed where they carry the storytelling and reward exploring further.

For Paul Kalkbrenner’s new website, our aim was to create a digital experience that felt as distinctive as his music.

The visual direction combines a clean and minimal foundation with a retro-inspired color palette, creating a balance between nostalgia and a contemporary experience. Motion and interaction play an important role throughout the site, adding energy and creating a more immersive way to explore Paul’s music, career, and life beyond the stage.

We designed and developed the experience from the ground up, creating a unique space that gives the content room to breathe while adding moments of movement and discovery throughout.

One part of our multifaceted work for Paul Kalkbrenner was the design and development of his new personal and professional website.

The site brings together his music, tour dates, personal story, and life beyond the stage in a clean and immersive digital experience. Inspired by a retro color palette, the design combines a minimal visual language with carefully crafted animations and interactions that bring the experience to life.

For CRAFTED, we built the full visual identity and motion system, one cohesive language that carried through every touchpoint of the event.

This post brings a few sides of it together. You’ll see the main visuals as they lived on the big screen, some photography from the event itself, and a closer look at the micrographics, motion, and small graphic details working underneath it all across screens, presentations, environmental applications, and digital content. The hero moments are the ones that catch your eye, but it’s the quieter details that hold everything together and give the whole system its character and consistency.

CRAFTED brought some of the leading voices in AI, design, and creativity into Espace Niemeyer in Paris, Oscar Niemeyer’s architectural masterpiece. It’s a rare kind of setting, where modernist architecture and emerging technology sit side by side and somehow feel like they belong together.

We recently collaborated with and his on the visual identity, art direction, and motion graphics for CRAFTED, an event bringing together some of the most exciting minds working at the intersection of AI, design, and creativity.

Hosted at the iconic Espace Niemeyer in Paris, the event created a striking dialogue between historic architecture and a new era of creative expression powered by artificial intelligence.

Our work focused on creating a visual identity that could unify the entire event experience across every touchpoint. From the core identity and art direction to a comprehensive motion system, we developed a visual language that felt bold, contemporary, and adaptable. The identity was designed to support the talks, installations, and atmosphere of the event, while giving CRAFTED a memorable presence that could evolve alongside future editions.

Our focus was on creating a visual identity that feels distinctive, scalable, and instantly recognizable. Veda is a DeFi infrastructure protocol that powers vault products for institutions and financial applications, helping users access optimized yields through automated capital allocation.

We built the visual identity around the ideas of growth, movement, and financial products. At its core is a custom logo symbol that forms an ownable letter V while subtly pointing upward, reflecting the platform’s focus on performance.

A key part of the system is a set of custom coins representing different vault products. They create a scalable and memorable identity that gives Veda a distinctive presence in the DeFi space.
