Klaviyo is billing you for people who will never buy from you again.

Since 2025 it charges on active profiles, meaning anyone you could email.

Not anyone you do. So every dormant sign-up from three years ago, every guest checkout that never opted in, every row of that spreadsheet somebody imported in a hurry, all of it is on the meter. Plenty of brands watched the bill climb without adding a single subscriber and never worked out why.
