A very poignant evening as Darren Locks the door for the last time and departs us after about… hmm… 🤔 at least 200 years on and off approx?! 🙄😅

Best of luck in your next adventure, you were more than just a loyal staff member, you were “part of the furniture” and a friend to all too. We’ll miss your presence but onwards and upwards for us all! 💻

Happy new year to all our customers, friends and family. Wishing you all the best for 2026.

The outage explained in one picture… 🤯🫠
All joking aside, our over dependency on 3rd party software and security services will catch us out on a larger scale at some point, not a case of if but when.

As the government and EU banks are suggesting, keep a cash reserve, don’t over depend on online ordering (especially at peak times of the year)

Best of luck to Tipp tomorrow 💙 💛 won’t be a dry glass in the county on Monday 😉😉

So….. big milestone coming for us next month. As of April (we think the 20th) but as we’re now so old, we can’t remember 😆 we’ll be celebrating 30 years in the I.T. Business.

We’ve seen a lot of changes over this time but we’ve also kept an awful lot of the old customers going back to nearly the very start.

As we’re trying to give back a little here and there, we’re looking to sponsor another charity or similar with either our I.T. Services and support, hosting or a combination of all.

We’re looking to you, our friends, customers and business partners to come up with some suggestions that may make a difference on a local level.

Currently, we already support and provide services to:
- Csaw.ie (hosting; email and IT)
- Cahir Day Care Centre (IT Services)
- ICAN Ireland.ie

We’re looking to expand this support to another worthwhile charity, organisation that could really do with a bit of help in some way.

If you’ve comments or suggestions; please let us know as we’d like to choose soon.

Thanks in advance!

We provide services that help reduce the number of su***des in South Tipperary and surrounding areas. In addition, we provide support and assistance to people who have been bereaved or in any way impacted by su***de.

There’s a very good reason our customers trust us with their valuable data and use our 30+ years (each) of knowledge when it comes to their Laptops, computers and drives to safe guard the important stuff.

We have strict controls on what we do. We’re very aware that we now have competition in Cahir and that they advertise repairs to Laptops, computers etc.

We are 100% focused on making sure that we give the right info. It’s not always easy to explain to people, but we know we do right by our customers and that the knowledge is sound.

We have worked hard to service our customer base whose turnover is now in excess of 100m (yes, million!) and we are are responsible for the functioning of their IT on a daily and weekly basis. We take their businesses seriously and understand their needs.

We’re aware that less reputable IT services are available in the area so hence this post to assure people that we won’t be changing our approach to IT.

We are committed, we are clear in our goal and we are very confident that our methods are best.

Thanks to all that support and continue to support us.

** STORM ADVISORY - Electronic Equipment **
We’re taking the threat and potential impact of storm Éowyn seriously in regards to essential computer equipment and electronics.
As has happened in recent storms, we’ve had customers impacted and equipment damaged. (Some beyond repair)
If power goes out or is intermittent, it’s the “potential” surge when it comes back is where the damage can occur.
Were advising all business customers before they leave their premises this evening to do the following:

• Switch off AND unplug all computers, servers, network equipment before they finish for the evening.

Broadband:
• Switch off routers and if using new Fibre, switch off and unplug the white fibre box beside the router. The plug transformers that power these devices aren’t designed to take a large hit if a surge happens.

Keep in mind, if a large percentage of broadband customers have damage, replacement power supplies or routers may be in short supply for weeks.

General:
• Unplug network devices, printers, monitors, TVs and even sky boxes to minimise the risk to your equipment.
(We’ve seen situations where large surges have still damaged equipment that has been plugged in even though the wall sockets have been switched off)

• Charge your phones, iPads, tablets, power banks etc. in advance just in case there are power outages.

• If you forget to charge, see if you can charge phones via the cigarette lighter socket in your car if you have an adapter.

All of the above should be prioritised both in work and home. Better to prevent rather than having to cure.

It would appear that Eir Mobile services (voice and data) are down or very limited around the Cahir area at the moment.
If you have normal WiFi in you house or office, you’d need to switch on the WiFi calling feature on your phone to be able to use it.
We’re going to try and make contact with them and see if there’s any update on service being restored.

* CONTRACT CLOSURE *
Unfortunately we will have the office and workshop closed to the public for most of next week due to a massive surge in contract work.
Apologies in advance for any inconvenience this will cause.
We anticipate that towards the end of the week and definitely in to next week, things should settle back to normal.
If you are waiting on servicing or repairs, please contact us and we will do our best to update you with a more accurate timescale for completion.
