Nualight continue to excel with the level of product reliability our customers enjoy. Here we maintain a year-on-year, in-the-field, failure rate well below our own target of 0.1%, or less than 1 in 1000 units.

This achievement not only supports the reputations of refrigerated display case manufacturers, where our ION or ORION LED lighting is factory fitted, but also ensures retailers avoid any disruption to their business.

Now more than ever it’s vital that we manage resources wisely, minimise waste and maximise reuse and recyclability.

Currently most refrigeration lighting products are assembled and sealed using silicone or epoxy adhesives. Although silicone can be recycled, this is problematic and can only by done at specialist facilities. Whilst epoxy resins cannot be reprocessed or recycled, due to their permanent crosslinked structures.
Additionally, these chemicals being bonded to other materials is problematic to their removal from the waste steam.

Our ION and ORION ranges are designed without reliance on adhesives.
So when the time does eventually come to recycle, they may be easily disassembled into their constituent parts.
This is not the case for many competitor products though.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from NUALIGHT.

This is Poulnabrone Dolmen ('Poll na Brón', in Irish), situated in County Clare in the west of Ireland.

Thought to have been constructed by neolithic farmers as far back as 6000 years ago, this is the most famous and amongst the largest Dolmen, or ‘portal tomb’, out of the more than 170 across Ireland. The huge tabular capstone is 4 meters (13ft.) long and weighs an impressive 5,000 kg (12,000 lbs).
