Dual ptts are always in demand and overly expsenive. Over the last number of months in conjunction with a UK firm we have been working on a dual box for the enduser who has a selection of radios and often finds the need to change radio. With this in mind we put together a dual box that is modular.

We will be putting these on the website with a series of drop down options.

Nexus tj101 NATO Socket for your sordins or 5 pole 92 EU peltors (you know the red ringed plug).

You will also be able to choose you down leads. Either the same or a combination.... Baofeng/ 6 pin NATO. Baofeng/Baofeng etc...

We will also have a type that has express hirose quick detach connectors so you can swap radios by simply pluging in the necessary patch lead. Some examples are pictured above.

Components wise they will be NEXUS plugs and sockets, OEM Kenwood plugs and adapter overmolded in the UK. An aluminium case with vercro attachment and 2 OTTO P9 buttons one red and one black so you know what channel you are keying and amped for your pleasure, or not... Your call.

Break, break, break....

After a lot of searching in the EU/UK we have foind a new Impedance pcb to replace our own more basic model.

This new "amp" chip continues in this vain and as of the 20th of March we will be phasing out the older pcb in our U94 ptt series. This is a custom made drop on unit designed to sit perfectly inside the U94 ptt casing. Its a snug fit and delivers crisp TX and RX. This will also be fitted to the new Hirose PTT series for the MorosX mesh radio ptts.

We will also be offering a retro fit service for the cost of parts and shipping only, to any customer or anyone else for that matter who wants an upgrade to this PCB

POTENTIAL UPCOMING PRODUCT.

We have been in contact with a US company that manufactures LoRa and IP Mesh radios, similar to Persistant Systems.

As such qe are interestwd in guaging potential interest in stocking thes for European Customers.

Designed to operate in the 915mhz freq range and with GOTAK/ATAK setups this is a game changer and within the realm of affordability.

We already have the PTTs/Adapters and Antenna to fully kit out one of these units. With regular firmware updates coming on line and seamless integration with analog radios via dual ptts there is a lot of potential whatever your application is.

We are guaging interest currently to see ablut viability.

With a growing number if customers using LoRA Wan frequencies. We have added specific BNC/BNC Cables to the line up.

These are buold innhouse by us to cater to specific needs and applications as well as lengths. Utilizong high quality LMR 195 UF cable to ensure that signal quality is high and reduse signal degrealdation.

We have build a run in BNC/BNC as a start point due to requests for endusers who are onbthe move and break down their kit and to reduse reliance on inferior SMA threaded conmectors which break over time. Simply add an adapter with a BNC and you can twist and move in seconds.

Cost will not be high on these and only increases if there is a signigicantly long cable needed.

Frequencies are specific ti region:
Europe (EU868) around 868 MHz.
North America (US915) 902-928 MHz.
Asia (AS923) 920-923 MHz.
Australia AU915.

Always good to breath life into older equipment. In this case a couple of retro fits on a U94 new cable assembly and switch.
A really good pair of MSA Sordins (model 76321) which were built to last but have half moon plugs that are not compatible with ptts on the market. So a chop a snip and a NEXUS OEM plug and we are back in business, no need for an adapter!
