We are proud to announce that Asiera has achieved recognition under the Healthy Ireland Workplace Programme, a government initiative dedicated to promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace. 🎖️

After completing the necessary assessment on the programme framework, we were delighted to be invited to attend the Healthy Workplaces Programme Celebration Event at the Department of Health on April 14th, 2026.

This occasion highlighted our ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive, healthy work environment and celebrates our leadership in this vital area.

Asiera Conference 2026 is coming!

Preparations for the inaugural Asiera Conference 2026 are well underway, marking an exciting new chapter for Ireland’s research, education, and digital infrastructure community. Asiera builds on the long-standing legacy of the annual HEAnet Conference (est. 2001).

Join us at the Great Southern Hotel, Killarney, from Tuesday 3rd to Thursday 5th November 2026, as technologists, researchers, educators, and policy leaders come together to reconnect, share ideas, and explore the sector’s most pressing challenges all under Asiera’s fresh, forward-looking identity.

Turns out Team Asiera are quietly very competitive… especially when there is a good cause involved ♻️

Our bottle and can return initiative raised €135 for Sheriff YC , supporting their youth football programmes in the inner city.

It is not a huge number, but that is the point. Small, consistent effort adds up, especially when it helps a club that makes sure every child can take part, regardless of cost.

Sheriff YC is run entirely by volunteers and supports kids from their first kick of a ball right through to senior level, creating a space where young people can take part and feel they belong ⚽

It is safe to say this will not be the last round - we have set the bar now!

If you have been quietly stockpiling recyclable bottles and cans, now is the time to support this great cause!
