Dear friends,

We have decided to cancel Vaticon 2021, we will be back next year when we are certain that it is safe for us to host again.
It saddens us to bring you this news, but as they say "Good comes to those who wait".

Until then, stay safe and look after one another.
We'll rise again from the ashes.

From,
Vaticon Committee 2020/21

12/03/2020

Hello everyone, Peter here, Director for Vaticon XXVI.

In light of the announcement by the government today, along with advice from health officials on the potential risks of large public gatherings, the Vaticon committee has decided to postpone the convention until such time as large gatherings are no-longer deemed to pose a public health risk.

In the mean time we will start the process of ticket refunds and begin exploring our options for holding the convention at a later date.

As you can imagine, this has been rather tough for all of us here on the committee, and I would like to extend my sincerest thanks for all the time and effort they have pumped into getting the con back up and running so far. It has been absolutely amazing to see the amount of work we have managed to achieve in such a short window.

We hope you understand that our decision to take such actions has not come easily, and we appreciate the continued support of the Irish gaming community going forward.

All the best,

Peter.
