We Are Hiring: Freelance Project Manager (Website Transition)

The IDI is seeking a disciplined and design-literate Freelance Project Manager on a part-time basis to lead the delivery of our new digital home. This is a critical role focused on the full lifecycle of a website project, from initial scoping and agency selection through to launch and handover.

You will be responsible for ensuring the project reflects the IDI’s commitment to Irish design excellence while remaining on time, on budget, and technically robust.

Key Responsibilities
◽Agency Appointment: Lead the tender process, and assist the Board/Executive in selecting a best-in-class design and development agency.

◽Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the IDI executive team, the Board, and the external agency.

◽Project Governance: Define the project roadmap, manage budgets, and mitigate risks.

◽Content Strategy Oversight: Work with the IDI team to ensure legacy content is audited, migrated, or archived effectively.

◽Quality Assurance: Ensure the final product meets high accessibility standards, reflects the IDI brand identity, and provides a seamless user experience.

Term: 6 months
Commitment: Approx. 1 day per week (flexible hours).
Location: Remote / Hybrid (Dublin-based meetings may be required occasionally).
