My client is based in Athlone is looking for an Operation's Manager. My client is in the process of setting up a new nationwide Parcel Shop delivery service which allows the consumer collect and return parcels through one of many locations throughout Ireland. This service could be located in retail units around the country or also in dispersed locations for the customers of online retail stores to collect and return goods.

It will offer the consumer greater choice, flexibility and service. The national Parcel Shop Delivery service will be integrated with my client’s existing European model.

Web Developer / Designer Position
My client is looking for a Web Developer / Web Designer to work in their Dublin office in Dublin 8. You will be developing and designing websites that facilitate elearning. You will also be involved in designing / developing the front end of a website that facilitates the compliance processs. There are a number of steps involved to ensure that paricular services (for eg credit card services) are secure. There will be a web based platform which documents the different stages which need to be adhered to, to ensure top security in services provided.

What will you do?
• My client is seeking a Web developer / Designer, preferably with some Moodle development experience. Individual must possess development experience and a broad working knowledge of application deployment practices/configurations. Proficiency using MYSQL in regard to creating/maintaining stored procedures, triggers, functions and views would be a considerable benefit. This position will require hands-on involvement in all aspects of software development and deployment.
• Enterprise application and business systems development experience is preferred and will be given priority. Technical Support Team Lead (Permanent)
Reporting to the IT Manager, this position is responsible for managing a team of technical support professionals. My client is presently developing a fully functioning, cloud based platform proof of concept. One key component of this platform will be a library of mobile application prototypes, based on previously designed and developed applications. We required excellent content administrators to help create this library using our tools. For this initial phase of the business plan we require contractors to work on developing the prototype library and the supporting training material and other content, under the direction of the founders and other partners.

These initial contracts are expected to last somewhere between six to twelve weeks, commencing in early May 2013.

Longer term, my client will continue to develop the content aspect of the platform, but will also be expected to interface with suppliers, partners and customers and manage projects on behalf of our sales partners. Therefore, for those that are interested, these in contracts have the potential to lead to long term permanent positions in a dynamic new business, in a very exciting and evolving sector.
