OneDrive For Business Next Generation Sync Client (Version 17) is Finally Here!
“Great news if you are using Windows 10 and/or Office 2016”
If like me you ever got frustrated with your OneDrive for Business giving constant problems, you’ll be happy to hear that Microsoft have just launched their most promising version yet. If you are using an “old” version of OneDrive for Business, my best advice is to upgrade ASAP!
If you don’t know how to do it yourself, please email us on [email protected] and we’ll schedule the upgrade for you
Benefits of Upgrading
1) Resolves Previous issues with ODFB on Windows 10 (probably with ODFB v 15 and/or v16)
2) Selective Folder Sync (meaning you don’t have to synchronise ALL your folders from the Cloud onto your local PC/Laptop hard drive)
3) Per file sync size limit from 2GB to 10GB
4) Limitation of 20,000 files removed (no limit now - 30million files to be exact)
5) Allows you to manage your OneDrive Personal and OneDrive for Business through the same interface (whereas before it was two separate interfaces)
6) If you have multiple OneDrive accounts within your Sync Client
7) Shows the Size of the Data Store that it is Syncing, not just file count
