๐ŸŽฎ Level up your game with Recorded Macros

Ever wish you could execute complex button combos with one tap? Your Proteus Controller can do that. ๐Ÿš€

Record sequences of inputs (2-10 seconds) and map them straight to a button. Game-changing setups just got way easier.

โœจ Here's the flow:
Open the Macro Menu โ†’ Select 'Record Macro with Timing' โ†’ Pick your slot โ†’ Hit record (3-second countdown!) โ†’ Perform your inputs โ†’ Save it โ†’ Assign to a button โ†’ Play ๐ŸŽฏ

Whether you're speedrunning, grinding, or just want faster ex*****on, recorded macros work for all your controller customizations.

The Proteus Controller Tripod Mount + Akimbo combo is here โ€” because not everyone plays the same way.

๐ŸŽฎ Mount it hands-free when you need to
๐ŸŽฎ Hold it when you want to
๐ŸŽฎ Split them joy-con style on Xbox

One system. Infinite flexibility. Accessibility first.

Last year we made the Proteus Controller, a modular, adaptable controller that lets you build anything and everything!

It inspired Proteus Builder, a simplified pre-built controller. Perfect to use alongside a mouse for FPS or one-handed for simple games.

Pre-built and ready to go. Get it at byowave.com ๐ŸŽฎ

One button. That's it. ๐ŸŽฎ

Normally in Minecraft, I'd have to: scroll to food โ†’ hold click to eat โ†’ scroll back to my weapon. Four separate actions.

With the Proteus Builder, one macro handles it all.

That's the difference custom controls make.

Meet Lee ๐ŸŽฎ

When controllers got complex, gaming became harder. Until the Proteus Controller changed everything.

In this interview, Lee, a longtime gamer with cerebral palsy, shares how he went from struggling with traditional controllers to enjoying pinball, expanding into new games, and rediscovering the joy of gaming.

Rocket League, but make it accessible. ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’จ

The Proteus Controller adapts to how you play, not the other way around. That's exactly the gap the Proteus Controller was built to close. Fully modular and endlessly reconfigurable, it lets players set up their own layout so the controller fits their hands, not the other way around.

Built modular. Built for everyone. ๐ŸŽฎ

Wait, did you catch this in our last video? ๐Ÿ‘€

This is our tripod mount, and it's not just for mounting your controller. It also doubles as a way to connect straight onto your analog sticks.

When we were building the Proteus Controller, we tested a bunch of ideas, including a flight stick base. Problem was, it kept slipping right off. So a last-minute fix was adding a thread, so you can twist on heavier 3D printed attachments securely, while still being able to pop the analog sticks on and off just as easily.

This is kind of the whole point of testing out-of-the-box ideas: you end up finding these small details that make all the difference. Our goal is to give people as many ways to build and customize as possible, and details like this are how we get there.

Two tripod mounts, one split controller setup, because sometimes the best way to play isn't the "default" way. We built Proteus to adapt to however you actually want to hold it, mount it, or set it up, not the other way around.

If you can imagine a new way to play, chances are there's a way to build it.

This whole gun isn't even connected ๐Ÿ‘€

Turns out the crazy shape you saw in the last video is just the shell, built from old spare parts we had lying around, none of it wired up. The actual controllers are hidden underneath: two small Proteus units, connected wirelessly, doing all the real work.

We designed 3D printed stoppers to keep the real controllers from interfering with the shell of the gun around them. Snap them in, link up akimbo mode, and that's the whole "gun."

Is it functional as an actual gun? Not really, still just analog stick inputs, no real aim mechanic. But that's the fun of it, this is proof of concept more than anything, a look at how far you can push Proteus into a totally different shape.

Next up: pairing it with the gyro setup from our last build to see if we can actually aim with it. Let us know what shape we should try next ๐Ÿ‘‡
