Hi, Apologies to all, we had intended to restart the coder dojo immediately following the summer break but must delay a few weeks.

Hi, Unfortunately there will be no dojo tonight as. I had to go to Carlingford at short notice today Apologies for the short notice.
Additionally we are not having sessions till mid August..

Dylan and Katherine with Pete Lomas, the originator of the Rasberry Pi Hardware.
Pete gave a brilliant lecture where he said that one of his lecturers in collecge worked with the Manchester Baby computer, the worlds first stored program computer, created in 1948. It was huge and much slower than any computer today.
Katherine is holding a Rasberry Pi that was on the International Space Station

Liam, sorry didn't get a decent picture of the zombie game. Four Zombies chase relentlessly (as they do) the player around the screen. It was edited in Gamemaker.

Katherine and the smoothie maker project. This allowed you to add ingredients, mix them up and produce a delicious smoothie (on the screen).

Dylan and the chatbot at Coolest Projects. The Chatbot was hosted on Discord and used Javascript and MongoDB among other things. With a couple of commands it was possible to add, remove, ban and unban users, among other things.

Congratulations to Dylan and Katherine for exhibiting great projects at Coolest Projects last Saturday. Dylan exhibited a Discord Chatbot complete with a really good poster and Katherine showed off a Scratch Smoothie Maker. I will upload pictures later. It was a really good day and I hope to see more of us there next year. Well done to Liam too, formerly of our Dojo for exhibiting a fast zombie game made with GameMaker.
