Samsung has announced severe cuts to its memory chip production due to decreased market demand. Market observers believe the cuts will focus on DDR4. NAND flash and memory IC inventory equalization could happen as soon as Q3 2023.

Hackers who breached WDC are pushing the company to negotiate a ransom in exchange for not publishing the stolen data.

SK Hynix's market share of high bandwidth memory (HBM) is expected to exceed 50% in 2023. The HBM market share of other suppliers is Samsung at 40% and Micron at 10%.

Micron 2Q23 revenue was 3.7 billion, down 53% Y/Y
Revenue composition is DRAM 74% vs. NAND 24%. 176/232-layer products represent over 90% of NAND bit production.

צוות של חוקרים מהמכון הטכנולוגי האיטלקי ייצרו סוללה נטענת ואכילה לחלוטין שבסיסה הוא מחומרים שנאכלים על ידנו כחלק מהדיאטה היום יומית האנושית!
השימושים האפשריים של הסוללה יכולים להשתלב במגזר הרפואי כחלק מתהליך הדיאגנוזה הרפואית, ניטור אחר איכות אוכל ופיתוח רובוטיים רכים.
שימושים נוספים יכולים להיות בחיישנים ניתנים לאכילה שיכולים לנטר אחר מצבים בריאותיים ואף בחיישנים שמטרתם לעקוב אחר איכות אחסון מזון.

לדברי המפתחים, הסוללה עובדת ב 0.65V זרם נמוך מספיק כדי לא לעורר בעיות בגוף האנושי לאחר בליעה.
היא יכולה לספק 48μA למשך 12 דקות, או מספר קטן של מיקרו אמפר ליותר משעה, מספיק כדי להפעיל מכשירים אלקטרוניים קטנים, כגון LED בעלי דרישת כוח נמוכה!

Has Nvidia find its match?
Hailo has introduced the extremely powerful Falcon H8 PCIe card platform.
The card can host up to 6 Hailo-8™ PCIe modules reaching to amazing computation power of 156 TOPS with a typical power of 35W in full load.
In terms of performance (FPS) the Falcon H8 PCIe card outperform Nvidia’s A2 and T4 modules by 1.7~3 time, while in terms of power efficiency (FPS/W) its outperform the same card in 3~4 time factor.
Finally, an AI card which can be used in embedded, fanless platforms without special – expensive cooling elements.
