What do we do at SpartaBI?
We provide professional consulting and development services in the Microsoft data platform stack.
Basically, we specialise in designing and implementing cloud based OLAP systems.
We use two sets of tools: The Power BI ecosystem, for both self-service and centralised solutions, and Azure PaaS services for more tailor-made solutions.
Who are we?
SpartaBI was founded by Avishay Firstater and Omri Avissar.
Avishay is a Power BI evangelist and an expert in Analysis Services and DAX. Founder of the Power BI ecosystem at Wix.com. When Avishay started as an analyst at Wix in 2017, Tableau was the only visualisation tool - but Avishay had a vision of how he could improve the BI ecosystem. Thanks to his passion, Power BI is now an official tool at Wix with more than 2,000 users. Avishay was Power BI everything, from tech lead, support and excellence to tenant administration, operations, and a whole lot of PR.
Omri is a BI solutions architect, data engineer, and code developer. Over the past 5 years, he has successfully consulted and developed solutions for a wide variety of companies. He has a passion for automation and optimization. He thinks outside of the box and questions paradigms. His approach to new technologies is to learn the theory first, test for pitfalls, then consider the pros and cons.
Anyone who worked with Omri can agree he is THE expert in Azure PaaS Services and Analysis Services. Actually, he's just the best at anything he puts his mind to..
