Who we are:
Cuma Financial is a growing start-up company developing a robust trading prediction platform. Cuma Financial is a privately held company founded in 2017, by two Israelis entrepreneurs, with vast experience in the finance industry, who lived in and explored the finance and the US capital market industry in New York for more than 30 years combined.
Cuma Financial is set to disrupt the computed trading market & technology by developing unique trading strategies, based on nature’s laws - physics, astrophysics, Aerodynamics, and more to find a correlation with trends and movements in the financial world.
The trading strategies are developed in Cuma’s research lab, by a team of interdisciplinary research scholars from world-renowned universities. The team conducts a systematic study of structural, and behavioral aspects of financial markets in order to develop unique trading strategies.
Our development team implements the trading strategies and develops a robust platform, that processes a huge amount of data in order to predict trading trends and recommend unique and profitable trading positioning.
The company has completed 2 successful investment rounds and intends to launch its trading platform by 2021.
What you will be doing:
As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be setting a dedicated cloud environment for Cuma’s large scale platform, creating innovative and cost-effective solutions for Cuma's ever-growing compute and storage needs.
Designing and developing a highly-stable and high availability production system infrastructure, creating a data-pipeline for streaming of up to 1Giga per second, and obviously creating a smooth, fast, and stable development environment for Cuma’s engineering team.
Main responsibilities:
Developing, monitoring, and maintaining Cuma’s cloud infrastructure.
Developing & maintaining Cuma’s deployment process and development environment.
Professional experience & Knowledge:
Must-Have:
At least 5 years of experience as a Lead DevOps engineer
Experience with orchestrators as Kubernetes/Openshift/Nomad
Experience with Linux, Bash, Ansible (or equivalents), Open source tools (like MinIO)
Experience working with containerized cloud-hosted infrastructure
Experience with configuration-management / automation frameworks like Ansible, Terraform, Vault, Consul, and CI/CD tooling and methodologies
Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana & Prometheus
