Mid-Level - Senior Product Designer for Ariga (Tel-Aviv)
We are looking for a Mid-level - Senior Product Designer.
The company is in a post-seed stage, funded by one of the top VCs in Israel.
Ariga is building an Operational Data Graph Platform - an innovative system designed to unify all of an organization’s data stores as if they were one database. In addition to the opportunity of working with a very strong engineering team on groundbreaking technology, you will have the opportunity to work on two widely popular open source projects.
Job Description
As the first product designer in the company, you will be responsible for the following:
- Working closely with Product and R&D to understand the product specifications and user requirements
- Designing new features from wireframing, and all the way to production
- Taking ownership of branding, design, and UX/UI of the products
- Growing our design system by using and creating reusable components across different products and platforms
- Crafting and designing branded experiences: from the product, to company websites, graphics (icons, logos, etc.), and more.
- Producing branded artifacts for social media presence, educational content, and public presentations
This role is a unique opportunity to build tools and infrastructure for developers in an open-source community as well as commercial products.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Product or UX/UI Designer
- Experience using Figma, Sketch or any other industry standard wireframing and visual design tool
- Strong understanding of usability and UX/UI principles
- Experience designing SaaS and/or enterprise web applications
- Past work in a tech company
- Design portfolio that shows experience as a designer (relevant to the points mentioned in the description)
