Since the launch of Intel Ignite, we have engaged with thousands of early-stage deep tech startups, screened more than 4,500 startups, accelerated 216 startups, and our portfolio has raised more than $3.5 billion in follow-on funding and acquisitions.

🧘 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 is a critical yet often overlooked topic, and one that Tzahi Weisfeld, VP and GM of Intel Ignite, is truly passionate about. Drawing from his experience helping build over 1,000 startups, in the video below Tzahi emphasizes the importance of breaking the stigma around mental health and founders investing in their well-being.

Here are his tips for navigating the startup journey with resilience:

📈 The UK deep tech ecosystem is thriving, with over 𝟱,𝟴𝟬𝟬 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀! Intel Ignite London teamed up with Beauhurst on a report that dives into UK deep tech, and the findings are remarkable.

Some stats:
💸 2,554 deep tech companies have secured over $1m in equity funding
💰 4,181 deep tech companies have secured over $100,000 in equity funding
✍️ 3,099 deep tech companies have raised grant funding
💷 £672m awarded via 1,469 grants in 2023
🧑‍💻 30.7% patents granted (10.7k in total) between 2014 - 2023

The report also discusses the impact of Intel Ignite’s global and London-based accelerator programs, showcasing key achievements of cohort companies, and features case studies with Intel Ignite London alumni Vaire Computing, Crypto Quantique, Tenyks, and Stanhope AI.
