We are looking for a Senior Big Data Developer to join the Smart.bid team based in Tel Aviv.

As part of your role you will:

- You’ll be expected to utilize advanced technical skills and critical thinking abilities while using a range of technological stacks: Spark, Kafka, Elasticsearch (we code mainly in Java and Scala).

- Work closely with our DS to implement statistical and machine learning algorithms.

- Design and build complex data processing for our flows, and large-scale production data infrastructure.

- Develop and deliver high quality products.

If you are a fast learner, outside the box thinker and eager to attain knowledge, we will help you achieve it with us.

Requirements:

- At least 10 years of software development experience

- Experience with Big Data/Stream processing technologies (e.g Spark, Kafka)

- Experience in AWS - a big advantage

- Experience in Python - a big advantage

- Passionate about new technologies

- Independent and self-learner

Smart.bid, a super challenging and dynamic start up is seeking an experienced Media Buyer.

Responsibilities:
Lead business initiatives and create new growth opportunities.
Monitor, analyze and optimize ongoing high budgets campaigns.
Oversee large scale campaigns across various ad platforms.
Market research and closing new media opportunities.

Requirements:
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as Media Buyer in a gambling company - MUST.
• Fluent in German (an additional language would be a bonus).
• Understanding performance channel metrics (CPM, CPC, CPL, CPI, CPA)
• Experience in running campaigns on self-service platforms (contextual pops, ad exchange, RTB media exchange, mobile).
• BA/BS degree in Economics, Business, Marketing or other analytical domains.
• Negotiation and selling skills, marketing and sales oriented.
• Strong analytical/reporting skills.

In this role, you will make the production process as efficient as possible, using various principles of engineering and technology.

Requirements:
• 4 + years of experience in a DevOps role.
• 4 + years of experience in a System Linux role.
• Excellent knowledge and experience in Big Data Database (Hadoop, spark etc).
• Deep knowledge and Understanding of Hadoop/SPARK Clusters.
• Strong background in Linux environment.
• Experience with automation tools – Ansible, Chef, Puppet, as well as scripting (Bash/Python).
