Mahabharata times, when the Rajasuya Yagna was held, Krishna was honored to be present there. During yagna, he accidentally cut his finger while handling the Sudarshan Chakra. Seeing Krishna’s bleeding finger, Draupadi immediately tore a strip of cloth from her saree and tied it around his finger to stop the bleeding.

Krishna was deeply touched by this gesture and, in return, vowed to protect Draupadi in times of distress. True to his word, when Draupadi was humiliated in the Kaurava court and her modesty was at stake, Krishna miraculously provided an endless length of cloth to protect her dignity.

This story beautifully exemplifies the spirit of Rakshabandhan, where a simple act of care and protection leads to a lifelong bond of safeguarding and support, beyond the traditional brother-sister relationship.

While the names of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru are synonymous with India's freedom struggle, there were countless unsung heroes whose contributions were equally vital. One such figure was Usha Mehta, a young woman who established a secret radio station from her family home in Mumbai. Broadcasting anti-British messages and inspiring the masses, her courage and determination played a crucial role in galvanizing the nation against colonial rule.

Her story is a testament to the collective spirit that fueled India's independence movement.

Usha Mehta, a young law student, was ignited by Mahatma Gandhi's call for independence. In the fervor of the Quit India Movement, she embarked on a daring mission. She transformed her family home into a clandestine radio station, broadcasting messages of hope and defiance against British rule. Known as 'Congress Radio,' her broadcasts became a beacon of inspiration for millions, fueling the fire of patriotism.

Mehta's courage and ingenuity were instrumental in keeping the spirit of resistance alive during a time of oppression. Her story is a testament to the power of the human spirit and the unwavering determination of those who fought for India's freedom.

There were many uncredited heroes whose names were never heard or written! Today we are celebrating the 78th Independence Day and we would like to show our gratitude to all those hidden heroes among the lead freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi Ji, Saradar Patel Ji and Bhagat Singh!

On International Yoga Day this year, I wanted to reflect on a time when yoga wasn't just about downward-facing dog or warrior poses. It was about finding balance in a very unexpected way.

A few years ago, I was experiencing a period of rapid growth. It was exciting, but also incredibly stressful. Long hours, demanding deadlines, and the pressure to succeed were taking a toll on my well-being. I felt constantly on edge, both physically and mentally.

One evening, overwhelmed and exhausted, I stumbled upon a free yoga class offered in the park. Hesitant at first, I decided to give it a try. What surprised me most wasn't the physical challenge (although there was definitely some of that!), but the sense of calm and focus that emerged during the practice.

Focusing on my breath, connecting each movement to my breath, I started to find a sense of peace amidst the chaos. It was a revelation. Yoga wasn't just about flexibility or strength; it was about mindfulness and inner balance.

This newfound practice became my anchor. It gave me the tools to manage stress, improve focus, and even boost my creativity. It reminded me that taking care of myself wasn't a luxury, but a necessity to perform at my best – a valuable lesson I carried back to TechDoodles.

Night of Awakening
Every year, as the crescent moon paints the night sky, a hush falls over our nation. It's Mahashivaratri, the 'Great Night of Shiva' - a time for introspection, renewal, and celebrating the transformative power of Lord Shiva.

Legend tells the tale of a fierce competition between Brahma (the Creator) and Vishnu (the Preserver) to determine who was supreme. A blazing pillar of light erupted, its source unknown. Both Brahma and Vishnu embarked on a journey to find its end, but neither could. Exhausted, they realized their limitations and sought guidance.

Lord Shiva then revealed himself as the infinite pillar, symbolizing the endless cycle of creation, preservation, and destruction. Mahashivaratri marks this revelation, reminding us of the impermanence of the material world and the importance of seeking a higher purpose.

On this auspicious night, devotees across India observe a fast, stay awake in prayer (Jagran), and offer sacred bel leaves to Lord Shiva. It's a night of seeking inner peace, letting go of negativity, and aligning ourselves with the divine.

May this Mahashivaratri be a time for reflection, transformation, and spiritual awakening for all.

Developers nestled all snug in their chairs,
Dreaming of clean code, free of despairs.
When out on the keyboard, arose a small clatter,
St. Nick appeared with his reindeer dev chatter.

In a code-covered suit from his head to his foot,
He debugged all the issues, declared them kaput.
