An Odoo go-live rarely goes sideways because of Odoo. It goes sideways because of the five things nobody puts in the project plan: dirty data, skipped training, that one undocumented integration, treating launch as the finish line, and no budget for the 90 days after.

We've seen each of these decide whether a rollout sticks or stalls. Get them on the table before go-live, not after.

Which one have you seen firsthand? Follow for more from the implementation trenches.

Every major Odoo release gets talked about for what it adds. The upgrades that go badly are decided by what it quietly removes.

Odoo 20 is a genuinely strong release. But if you run custom integrations or a customized frontend, your risk isn't in the feature list everyone's excited about - it's in the migration notes most people skip: XML-RPC gone, Owl 2 modules needing rework, and a first release that (like every major version) is safer to meet at stable patch 1 than on day one.

The teams who upgrade smoothly aren't the ones most excited about agentic AI. They're the ones who already know which of their integrations still run on XML-RPC.

Do you?

Odoo 19 -> 20 is the most disruptive Odoo jump in years, and it comes down to two changes: XML-RPC is gone, and Owl 3 replaces Owl 2. Both hit custom builds hardest.

Here's the 6-step preparation checklist we run on every 19->20 migration - the goal is to find the surprises in a sandbox, not on go-live day. Slide 3 is the one most teams underestimate.

If you're planning this move, which step is giving you the most doubt?

The headline for Odoo 20's agents is what they can do. The story worth your attention is what they do to your team's job.

When an agent runs the audit or reassigns the leads, your people stop being the ones doing the work and become the ones accountable for it - a shift from operator to governor. That only works if you can see what the agent did and why. An agent you can't inspect isn't automation; it's a liability with good PR, and it's why Gartner expects 40% of these projects to be cancelled by 2027.

The teams who win design the oversight before they switch on the autonomy. Swipe through for what changes - then tell us: what's one task you'd let an agent run unsupervised, and one you never would?

The most expensive AI mistakes aren't technical. They're the assumptions nobody challenges before the budget gets signed.

Three we hear in boardrooms: that more data automatically means better AI (clean beats big, every time), that AI will replace the team (it changes what the team is accountable for), and that success rides on the newest model (it rides on the process and data around it). Fund the reality, not the myth.

Which of these has someone in your org said out loud? Follow for more straight talk on enterprise AI.

"How much time did it save?" is quietly becoming the wrong question to ask about AI.

The bar enterprises hold AI to is moving from productivity to profit: direct revenue and margin impact nearly doubled as the top success measure this year, while "time saved" fell back (Futurum, 2026). Boards want AI tied to the P&L, not a vague efficiency story - and McKinsey still finds only ~39% see enterprise-level EBIT impact from it.

Here's the part that never makes the slide: an agent can only move the P&L if it runs on clean, structured operational data. The businesses getting financial impact from AI did the unglamorous data work first.

Is your AI still measured on "time saved," or on money?

Every AI success story opens with a number like 65%. Every AI disappointment opens with one like 56%. The uncomfortable truth sitting between them: the model was never the variable — the data was.

Most enterprises bought AI before their data was in any shape to be used by it: disconnected systems, manual entry, records that contradict each other. You can't prompt your way out of that. AI ROI turns out to be a data-readiness outcome wearing an AI costume.

So the real opportunity isn't a better model — it's the data you already have, finally usable.

What's one system you'd connect first if you could?

73% of enterprises use AI. Only 10% say it's core to how they operate.

Publicis Sapient surveyed 1,550 decision-makers. Why the gap persists:

51% cite internal data as the #1 blocker - not the models

Worker AI access jumped 50% in a year, exposing every data and integration gap

The barrier isn't adoption. It's readiness.

AI is already in the workflow. The systems underneath haven't caught up - and that's where usage stalls before it becomes value.

The Mobile Market Hits $935B in 2026. Enterprise Apps Lead It.

The global mobile app market is on track for roughly $935 billion in revenue in 2026 - and the fastest-growing segment isn't gaming or social. It's enterprise and business apps.

For mid-market companies, the opportunity is specific:

Field teams that need real-time tracking, route optimization, and offline access

Customers who want to order, track, and self-serve from their phone

Internal workflows moving off spreadsheets into a structured app

The way to build for both iOS and Android without funding two teams is cross-platform - primarily Flutter, now neck-and-neck with React Native among enterprise teams and shipping 30-40% faster than maintaining two native codebases.

We've built cross-platform Flutter apps for field operations (geofencing, live route optimization, real-time tracking) and customer-facing products across iOS and Android, from a single codebase.
