In the first case, an infected person coming in contact with the conductor/driver for paying of trip value and exchanging the currency, could potentially place hundreds of passengers at risk, who interact with the conductor the same day. The currency notes, infected with the virus, could in turn, infect other currency notes and items in possession of the driver
Second, the virus can be spread through surface transmission - the seats, railing, windows etc. Frequent cleaning using disinfectant could only help curb the spread of the virus.
