Admission Scam or Selective Admissions? Lucent Public School, Anantnag Must Answer

This post exposes the utterly irresponsible and opaque admission process of Lucent Public School, Anantnag.

I applied online for my child’s nursery admission. The very next day, I was called by the school, where they collected complete personal details, my child’s information, and even questioned my income. I was clearly assured that the registration was complete and that I would receive a confirmation call.

That call never came.

For the next 20 days, I kept following up through calls and even visited the school personally. Each and every time, I was bluntly told: “No seat available.”

Now comes the most disturbing part: I have seen a Facebook post where another parent has openly shared that their child was admitted to the same school, in the same nursery class, on 20th December.

So the question is simple:

Were seats actually unavailable?

Or are admissions being decided based on money, influence, or favoritism?

Parents are not fools. Collecting sensitive financial information, giving false assurances, and then denying admission while quietly admitting others is completely unacceptable.

I demand immediate intervention and a formal inquiry into this matter.

If such practices are allowed to continue unchecked, public trust in private educational institutions will completely collapse. This is not a request anymore—this is a public demand for transparency and accountability.
