D-Major - a film by Samik Roy Choudhury who won the Best director and Best Producer at @ FOG Film Festival, Boston

Diya, a girl from the suburbs(Jhargram) was sent to Kolkata (Calcutta) by her parents to acquire a Bachelor degree in Bengali Language. But deep inside she desires to learn guitar. At the university she makes new friends and her quest becomes unusual until she eventually gets exploited and pushed towards drugs. The story revolves around her belief that creating music is impossible without being intoxicated and the wrench that follows.

After winning the Bengali Panorama Best Film Kolkata International Film Festival, D-Major is now streaming on Nuveb Screen.
