Introduction Automation testing started in between the years 2002 to 2004 and before humans were doing testing. During Mercury era, tools have been written with greater intelligence on “repetitive” tasks. Very soon, testers realized that, the effort on maintenance were increasing, as the tool can’t automate that. Later, there were many players attempted to develop “solution” around maintenance. While their attempt has given good results, the tool has become more of “Programmer’s centric” than “Tester’s centric”. [ 529 more words ]
