DC Bokaro launches RTE enrollment portal, 1434 seats in 51 private schools
Bokaro: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ajay Nath Jha launched the online enrollment portal under RTE (Right to Education Act) by clicking a button on Thursday at the secret office room. Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) Shatabdi Majumdar, District Education Officer (DEO) Jagarnath Lohra, District Superintendent of Education (DSE) Atul Kumar Chaubey, Assistant Public Relations Officer Avinash Kumar Singh along with other officers of Education Department were present.

The Deputy Commissioner said that children of economically and socially vulnerable class in private schools under the RTE Act have the opportunity to receive quality education. Considering this objective, the online portal has been launched to complete transparency, simplicity and timely manner of the district.

Parents can apply online for nomination under RTE from 05 March to 04 April 2026, the Deputy Commissioner said. Parents can apply for their children's enrollment by visiting the rtebokaro.com portal by filling out the necessary information.
He said the online process would make the application system more transparent and parents would not face any kind of unnecessary problems.

Parents can apply their children for enrollment under RTE in upcoming schools under the fixed circumstances of 01 kilometers, 03 kilometers and 06 kilometers from the school. The system aims to ensure that children have the opportunity to learn in schools near their home and not difficulty in traffic.

The process of enrollment for 1434 seats in total 51 private schools under the RTE Act in the district will be completed. Under this scheme, children from the age of 03 to 07 years will be admitted. Parents who meet eligibility conditions can apply for their children's enrollment.

Committees will be formed at the intense and district level to conduct the nomination process in transparent and systematic manner. Concerned BDO-CO of the Concerned Constituency will be president and BEEO member will play the role of Secretary. At the same time, the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) will be president in the district level committee and will act as the District Superintendent member secretary. These committees will monitor applications, verification and other necessary processes and compare the merit list with full transparency.
Instructions given to conduct # Campaign
The Deputy Commissioner directed the officials of the Department of Education to conduct a broad level awareness campaign to convey information about RTE plan to as many parents. He said that people should be informed about the plan through awareness vans, pamphlets distribution, promotional materials and advertising in newspapers, so that more eligible children can benefit from the plan.

Deputy Commissioner Mr. Ajay Nath Jha said that the main objective of the RTE Act is to provide quality education to the children of the weak and deprived classes of the society. He instructed the authorities that no qualified and intellectual child is deprived of the opportunity for education only due to financial reasons, it is our collective responsibility to ensure.
He instructed all concerned officials to complete the enrollment process with full transparency and fairness, to embody the core sense of RTE act.
