Agri drones delivering essential relief materials!
Amid heavy rainfall causing severe waterlogging across Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, our incubatee - , in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh Drone Corporation, has swiftly responded by deploying 10 drones to deliver essential relief materials, including food, milk, and rations, to affected areas.

Supported by the @ as part of the Innovators for Bharat program, Marut Drones typically provides cutting-edge solutions for agriculture, such as spraying, direct seeding, and crop health monitoring. However, in these challenging times, the organization has gone above and beyond, showcasing their commitment to community welfare and resilience.

πŸš€Announcing the Winners of the 'Enroute: A Mobility-as-a-Service Challenge'!

We’re excited to share that and .yatri have been selected as winners! These innovative solutions will use open General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) data from BMTC and BMRCL to enhance public transport usage in Bengaluru.

As winners, these teams will receive seed funding from Mercedes Benz Research & Development India (MBRDI) to further develop and pilot their solutions across the city. We are excited to see these innovations come to life, with deployment expected by December 2024. 🚌

Six shortlisted teams presented their solutions to a panel of jurors that included Ms. Shilpa M, IAS, IT Director – BMTC; Ms. Kalpana Kataria, IRS, Executive Director – BMRCL; Dr Monica Kashkari, Special Officer – DULT; Dr. Ashish Verma, Professor, IISc; Pawan Mulukutla, Executive Program Director, WRI India; Ananth Aravamudan, Chief of Programs & Strategy, Villgro; Manu Saale, MD & CEO, MBRDI; and Shweta Pandey, Vice President - Legal & Compliance, MBRDI. Enroute is a joint initiative led by BMRCL, BMTC and Directorate of Urban Land Transport, in partnership with Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, WRI India, and Villgro .
