The 2nd Annual Business Plan Competition organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell proved to be a benchmark in the history of UPES, dehradun. The few winners of the competition were incubated and out of them came into existence the first Student Incorporation of UPES, Dwellerin. Colleges are the most important part of the educational ecosystem of our academic society. Students at this stage must have
a mental stability especially since they are away from their family and home. Now, hostels play an essential role in creating an environment where a student grows mentally, academically and physically. So, choosing the perfect hostel becomes a very important decision. Dwellerin is an interactive online platform providing lodging solutions, targeting college students studying in colleges situated in tier 2 cities having limited hostel capacity. The innovative website contains an algorithm which generates a unique list of hostel as per the priorities input by the user. The website is equipped with booking facility and enriches the user with the true experience of a hostel. This dissolves the tiresome effort besides money & time a student has to put in finding a hostel along with his/her parents in an entirely new place. Currently focusing on UPES, we will soon expand to other colleges in Dehradun and eventually go nationwide
