The Department of Fuel & Mineral Engineering, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad is going to organise its Annual Fest, “KHANIJ 2k17” in association with Mineral Engineering Society (MLES). It is a 2 day fest to be held on 18th & 19th of March, 2017. It is organised with an aim to provide a platform for a synergistic interaction between academia and industry. nded in the year 1976 to address the processing issues of minerals (metallic, non-metallic and fuel). The department launched a B.Tech. programme in Mineral Engineering in 1984. The unique programme has produced graduates who are leaders in the top organisations of the country. From time to time, the department has been organising various training and professional development programs. This time the department is organising its maiden annual fest, Khanij.
