Microsoft Excel has changed how people organize, analyse and visualize their data, providing a basis for decision-making for the millions of people who use it each day.
Microsoft’s researchers believe they’ve now finally transformed Excel into a full-fledged programming language, thanks to the introduction of a new feature called LAMBDA. “With LAMBDA, Excel has become Turing-complete. Being Turing complete is the litmus test of a full-fledged programming language. You can now, in principle, write any computation in the Excel formula language”. There are two significant developments:
1. Data types take Excel beyond text and numbers and allow cells to contain first-class records, including entities linked to external data.
2. Dynamic arrays allow ordinary formulas to compute whole arrays that spill into adjacent cells.
In December 2020, LAMBDA(the ultimate excel working function) was announced, which allows users to define new functions written in Excel’s own formula language. These newly defined functions can call other LAMBDA-defined functions, to arbitrary depth, even recursively. With LAMBDA, Excel has become Turing-complete.

"A budget is telling your money where to go, instead of wondering where it went." Union budget 2021 bought a bundle of hopes and promises for everyone finding a new beginning, precise word Startups. Few takeaways for startups were-
a) Extending Tax Holiday: To boost startup investments in the country, the budget proposed an extension of eligibility for claiming tax holidays for startups along with the capital gains exemption for investment in startups till March 31, 2022, to incentivize funding.
b) Digital Payments Boost: Ease of transaction by announcing a scheme of 1500 Cr to provide financial incentive to promote digital modes of payment.
c) Revising Definition of Small Companies : Revision in the definition of small companies in the budget by increasing thresholds for paid-up capital from ₹ 50 lakh to ₹ 2 crore and turnover from ₹ 2 crore to ₹ 20 crore.
d) Incentivizing OPC Setup: Incentivized the setting up of a one person company (OPC) to benefit startups by eradicating restrictions with respect to paid-up capital and turnover for establishing OPCs.
