The Flour Hour – New Delhi 2026: Advancing European Flour Excellence in India
Standardtouch proudly participated in The Flour Hour, a prestigious press and networking event held in New Delhi on 9 March 2026 as part of the Pure Flour from Europe campaign. Organised with the support of ITALMOPA and co-funded by the European Union, the event brought together industry leaders, media professionals, culinary experts, and key stakeholders to highlight the quality, traceability, and versatility of premium European flour.
Representing Standardtouch, CTO Abdul Mannan Ali engaged in meaningful discussions with our UK partner, Pete Belmonte of Red Gold. The meeting focused on strengthening strategic collaboration, exploring growth opportunities in India, and aligning efforts to introduce high-quality European flour to food manufacturers, bakeries, and premium culinary applications.
A key highlight was the interaction with the Italian Ambassador, whose insights into European food heritage and stringent quality standards reinforced the importance of cross-border partnerships.
The programme featured informative sessions, interactive roundtables, and product showcases from leading European brands such as Fioreglut, Molini Pasini, and Nuvoletta. Participants explored the technical advantages of European flour, including superior gluten strength, consistency, sustainability, and adaptability for pasta, pizza, baked goods, and innovative Indian cuisine.
