As a part of reducing E-Waste, after the European Union, India is also moving towards the production of Universal Charging Cables & made Type C charging cables as the one point of solution.

Sooner or later, all the Mini USB charging cables production is going to be stopped.

According to an ASSOCHAM-EY report titled ‘Electronic Waste Management in India’, India is estimated to have generated 5 million tonnes of e-waste in 2021, ranking behind only China and the US.

Regardless of their manufacturer, all new mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras, headphones and headsets, handheld video-game consoles and laptops are rechargeable via cable and support 100 watts of charging, and will be equipped with a compulsory USB Type-C port.
