PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant (Freelancing Opportunity)

- Configure and customize the Payment Predictor feature in PeopleSoft AR to automate payment allocation based on predefined rules and algorithms across multiple business units
- Set up and maintain Cross BU Payment Allocations to handle payments received for multiple business units or legal entities, ensuring accurate allocation and accounting
- Implement and support Cross BU Auto Maintenance processes to automatically create and maintain cross-business unit transactions, including inter-company balances and settlements
- Develop and maintain processes for consolidating customer account balances and transactions from different business units into a single combined customer statement
- Implement and support statement printing and distribution processes for combined customer statements across multiple business units
- Perform testing and validation of all related processes, ensuring accurate data flow and reconciliation across business units
- Provide training and support to end-users on the usage and maintenance of these features, including best practices and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Accounts Receivable (AR) module, with a deep understanding of Payment Predictor, Cross BU Payment Allocations, Cross BU Auto Maintenance, and customer statement generation processes
- Comprehensive knowledge of PeopleSoft AR business processes, including payment application, deductions, adjustments, and inter-company accounting
- Strong expertise in PeopleSoft Inter/Intra Unit accounting and cross-business unit transactions, including inter-company balances and settlements
- Proficient in PeopleSoft Application Engine, Component Interface, and PeopleCode development related to AR processes and cross-BU integrations
- Experience with PeopleSoft BI Publisher or other reporting tools for generating combined customer statements across multiple business units
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Payment Predictor, Cross BU Payment Allocations, Cross BU Auto Maintenance, and combined customer statements
- Ability to document and communicate intricate AR processes and configurations to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and business users
- Knowledge of best practices, compliance requirements, and industry standards related to Accounts Receivable and financial reporting across multiple business units
