BVRIT MICians once again exhibited their merit at Country level by their selection as India Finalists in COMPUDON - Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship.

13 students from BVRIT MIC got selected as India Finalists in COMPUDON. It's a matter of pride that from entire Andhra Pradesh, only 13 students from BVRIT and a few students from CVSR College got selected for Level 2 of COMPUDON as India Finalists.
These students will compete with other India Finalists from remaining states of the country in Noida on 30th and 31st May 2014. 6 final winners from India will get eligibility to compete at world level in DisneyLand, USA in the final level with fully sponsorship by Microsoft.
There are many cash prizes and recognitions in this competition. Each and every India Finalist will be given Merit Certificate and will be recognized by Microsoft.

BVRIT MIC has once again been rewarded by Microsoft India MIC Lead & Director, Education Advocacy Mr. Lokesh Mehra for its active participation in programs related to Microsoft and he offered an opportunity (fully sponsored by Microsoft including transportation & accommodation) to BVRIT MIC students to participate in the Youth Spark Live event at Bangalore on 21st and 22nd May 2014. The objective of this event is to encourage Entrepreneurship in Youth and supporting them in converting their ideas into reality.
In general, the opportunity is given for two MIC students only. But because of our synergies with MIcrosoft, they are sponsoring four BVRITians:

Microsoft Office Specialization (MOS) Training & Certification



IMG 20140503_102321_lr55 students of 3rd year (2011 Batch) CSE, IT & ECE are undergoing MOS Training and Certification from Microsoft under our Microsoft Innovation Center. This is as part of participation in COMPUDON, the gateway to the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship. The training sessions were commenced from 02.05.2014. They will be continued till 05.05.2014 both at BVRIT and EduKinect Campuses simultaneously, batchwise.

Interships for CSE and IT Students at Edukinect



edu-kinect-logoUnder Microsoft Innovation Center @ BVRIT, Edukinect has conducted an Internship Interview drive at BVRIT campus on 26.04.2014 for 3rd year CSE & IT Students (2011-15 Batch). 43 students (23 CSE & 20 IT) got selected for Internships at Edukinect. The Internship program is design for around 300 hours in which the students have to complete the projects in teaMS

Microsoft has released the list of Microsoft Student Partners (MSP) for the year 2014. It is a matter of pride that BVRIT students prove
d their mettle at national level once again. Out of 25 Engineering colleges from Hyderabad, BVRIT is one of the four colleges getting maximum number of Microsoft Student Partners (MSP) for the year 2014.

It’s a brilliant effort put forward by BVRIT students clearing various critical levels of selection process of Microsoft. Although Microsoft has decided to select only one MSP from each MIC for the year 2014, 4 colleges from Hyderabad including BVRIT MIC have been recognized by Microsoft for the
ir effort and selected a maximum of 3 MSPs from them. These students represent Microsoft and its programs at various colleges.

1. An introductory session in the auditorium.

2.The "MIC COACH" bus that comes with practical sessions on Microsoft Technologies - Microsoft Virtual Academy and DreamSpark.

3. MIC Coach visit with hands-on experience on latest Microsoft devices(Microsoft Surface Tablet, Microsoft virtual academy, Windows Development platform)

4.The bus is open on campus from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
