Who is more out of touch? or ??

I love technology and always have. Several years ago, making videos of school sporting events and showing them at our morning meetings led into a role of technology coordinator. My school knew they needed more educational technology, and since I had some skills they asked me to take on the role. Since that time, I have worked to build my technology integration knowledge and stay on top of trends and tools that might fit our learning environment. This journey has been full of peaks and valleys, but I have grown so much professionally and personally that I do not regret any of it. However, I find myself now feeling out of touch with my building.

The team responsible for the stunning visual effects in filmmaker Christopher Nolan's epic film "Interstellar" has turned science fiction into facts by providing new insights into the powerful effects of black holes.

The team described an innovative computer code that was used to generate the movie's iconic images of the wormhole, black hole and various celestial objects and explain how the code has led them to new science discoveries.

Using their code, the "Interstellar" team found that when a camera is close up to a rapidly spinning black hole, peculiar surfaces in space - known as caustics - create more than a dozen images of individual stars and of the thin, bright plane of the galaxy in which the black hole lives.

Social networking site Facebook has launched a new platform for security professionals to exchange information about cyber threats with greater ease.

The platform, called , is meant to be the place where researchers and professionals can learn from each other, and help keep everyone's systems safer, reported a news website Mash-able.

"Our goal is that organisations anywhere will be able to use to share threat information more easily, learn from each other's discoveries, and make their own systems safer," Mark Hammell, Facebook's manager of threat infrastructure, wrote in a blog post announcing the project.

With Apple gone to extremes as to end Google as its default search engine on its browser Safari, it is now time to take a look at the alternatives. As far as Apple is considered all it brings to mind is its phones, tabs or laptops but not a search engine, does it?

But the time has come for Apple to now try its hand in the search engine area, although in with an option from Microsoft as to its search engine Bing. Apple has other plans so recently that lent out an offer on its panel to hire an expert “Engineering Project Manager” – Apple Search to join aboard.

This announcement makes it right that Apple is serious to forego Google and move forward to creep into the search engine of its own.
