HPE is looking for Red Hat Linux Support Engineers (L1 & L2) under the payroll of Vintech for the location, Mumbai & Bangalore.
Applicants must have at least 1 Red Hat Certification.

Job Role
Manage and Support customers as RHEL as L1 Engineer and provide support and perform troubleshooting as per issue. Resolve all the L1 Tickets assigned as per defined SLA & elevate the ticket to L2 If required. should involve in the activity and do the configuration and changes in the environment with proper process with help of L2. Other miscellaneous activities (stop, start, managing alerts/logs, license management, hardening, third party s/w installation & amp; configuration).
Job Responsibilities:
Basic installation, server security, server monitoring
Linux installation, setup, runtime operational support, troubleshooting
User, group management ( Disabling / Access rights )
Apply Naming Convention, Home Directory, Group Creation as per Policy
Disk RAID level knowledge,
Monitoring server Backup
Performance ( CPU, Disk and Memory Utilization )monitoring
Event Management (analyse alerts and logs)
System Log file management & Log file verification
Troubleshooting, Problem solving
Monitor Concurrent Logins / Connections
Incident and Request Services monitoring
Skills/Knowledge requirement:
Red hat Certified professional
Basic knowledge of Storage, network and security
Basic Shell Script knowledge
Redhat Openstack deployment (optional) is additional advantage

Disk management - creating partitions for the different types of server.
Managing disks, File system (Disk Partitioning & partition extend using LVM)
Disk space management for OS partition(s)
Package, Patch management (installation, remove, verify)
Excellent understanding of SMTP, HTTP, FTP, IMAP, POP, Exim, NIS, NFS
Installation and modification of Apache, Bind, DNS, PHP, MySQL, Perl
DNS Management
Handle incident (Create, update and maintain Knowledge base articles)
Perform High Availability / Disaster Recovery setup including Active-Passive Cluster,
Fail-over, I/O fencing
Backup & Recovery (server backup & recovery)
Linux v5, 6, 7 and 8 Installation and administration
RHEL/OEL Server Installation - VM and Physical server
Building RHEL VM's through vCenter
File system expansion and addition on Linux servers
Audit and security hardening configuration on Linux servers
User management
LVM Administration on Linux
Yum repository configuration
Tools & Agent installation on Linux servers
Shell scripting for creating scripts for automation
Performance troubleshooting
Skills/Knowledge requirement:
Red Hat Certified professional (Ver. 7 or 8)
Strong knowledge of Storage, network and security
Strong Shell Script knowledge
Automation via Ansible is additional advantage and certification
LDAP, Redhat SSO, Satellite and Jenkins working knowledge
Should have handed Network and Security projects for Infra Support
Large project delivery and customer program management
Red Hat OpenStack deployment (optional) is additional advantage
