At its ‘Gather Round’ event, Apple is expected to unveil three new iPhones: the 5.8-inch iPhone XS, 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max, and a 6.1-inch LCD iPhone called iPhone Xr.
A major leak from Apple’s own website just a few minutes ago confirmed the naming of the three iPhones. It also confirmed that the OLED iPhones will be available in Silver, Gold, and Space Gray colors. The cheaper iPhone Xr will be available in a variety of colors including Yellow, Coral, Blue, Black, Red, and White. Apple intends on offering the OLED iPhones in storage capacities of 64GB, 256GB, and 512GB, while the LCD iPhone Xr will be available in 64GB and 256GB storage capacities

iPhone SE 2 With Wireless Charging to Launch in May or June

We have heard plenty of rumors surrounding the iPhone SE 2 so far. Apple is expected to launch an upgrade to the 4-inch phone later this year with upgraded internals, wireless charging, and a better camera. A new report from DigiTimes analyst claims that the iPhone SE 2 will enter into mass production in Q2 of this year.

The handset will then reportedly launch in May or June of this year. Apple has unveiled the original iPhone SE at a separate event held in March in 2016. Give the May or June timeframe, it is possible that we will Apple unveil the iPhone SE 2 at WWDC this year. While the company has avoided launching new hardware at WWDC over the recent years, it did show off its Siri-powered HomePod smart speaker at last year’s WWDC.

While Apple continues to sell millions of iPhone SE units across the world, the handset now does not occupy an important position in the company’s lineup anymore. Thus, it is possible that Apple would end up unveiling the iPhone SE 2 at WWDC this year.

Apple is not expected to make major changes to iPhone SE 2 in terms of design. While the handset will retain the same design language, it will come with a glass back at the rear to facilitate wireless charging. Sadly, it will not come with a notch display design at the front or Face ID as seen on the iPhone X.

Apple Rumored to End iPhone X Production Instead of Reducing Price When the New Models Launch :

This year, Apple is expected to launch the successor to the iPhone X, along with two other iPhone models, but it sounds like Apple may change things up in another way, too.

Apple’s typical behavior when it launches a new iPhone is to drop the price of the older model(s), in an effort to offer a cheaper version of its devices, while still filling the top of the pyramid with its newest model. (This wasn’t the case with the iPhone 5 back in the day, when it launched the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, so this new report isn’t completely unheard of.) But, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, that might not be the case this year. The research note sent out today suggests that Apple will likely discontinue the 5.8-inch iPhone X altogether, rather than lower its price point

Kuo believes that if Apple were to drop the iPhone X’s price to $899, which would be $100 less than its launch price, then it could cannibalize the sales of the upcoming 6.1-inch iPhone with Face ID. Keep in mind that that’s not technically the successor to the iPhone X, if the rumor mill is true. The iPhone X sequel should see a new 5.8-inch model arrive, and then an iPhone X Plus is rumored to boast a 6.5-inch display. The aforementioned 6.1-inch iPhone is said to feature an LCD panel, and not an OLED screen like the iPhone X models.

“iPhone X would hurt product brand value & lineup of 2H18 new models if it continues to sell at a lower price after 2H18 new models launch: Lowering iPhone Xs price after the 2H18 new models launch would be a negative to product brand value given 3D sensing and OLED display are features of the new high-price model. Additionally, to sell iPhone X at a lower price may have a negative impact on shipments of the new 6.1″ LCD iPhone in 2H18. Thus, we estimate iPhone X will reach end-of-life (EOL) around the middle of 2018.”

If this does indeed pan out, Apple will keep LCD models in the mix. 2018 could see the iPhone SE (or iPhone SE 2 for that matter), the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, the 6.1-inch iPhone (2018) for the low- and mid-range devices (on Apple’s scale). At the top of the list will be the iPhone X 2 and the iPhone X Plus.

Snapchat Will Now Let Users Share Certain Stories Outside of the App :

If you are a frequent user of Snapchat, but have wanted to share some of the stories you captured in the social network to other networks, that is finally happening.

As reported today by The Verge, Snap has confirmed that it will let Snapchat users share some stories outside of the Snapchat app. Now, after you create a public Story (it has to be a public Story to be shared outside of the app), you will be able to choose to share it outside of the app. Once you do, Snapchat will create a link to that content via a link on the web.
Unsurprisingly, sharing the link will not only let users see the Story outside of the app, but it will also serve as a means to promote Snapchat, thanks to the prominent “download Snapchat” that will be visible with the link. That content can be shared to other social networks, including Facebook and Twitter. Text and email is supported, too.

Snap has confirmed that the update will be rolling out to the app beginning today.

LTE On Apple Watch Series 3 Will Not Work For Customers on Prepaid Plans

Last week, Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE capability. Soon after the announcement, all major carriers provided information on the pricing and plans they will be offering for the smartwatch. What, however, most carriers failed to mention is the fact that customers on a prepaid plan will not be able to use Apple Watch 3 over LTE. To be able to enjoy LTE connectivity on Apple Watch Series 3, customers must be on a monthly postpaid plan.

iOS 11 Bugs We’ve Found till Now :

iOS 11 brings tons of new features and improvements such as the all-new and customizable Control Center, powerful multitasking features for iPad, new Files app, AR experiences using ARKit and lots more..

However, as with every major release, iOS 11 also has a few bugs. We haven’t come across any major ones so far but here’s list some of the issues that have been reported in iOS 11:
